I just thought of it I and made this. If you think about it, it just makes more sense. Both are obtained very late game in Gen 2, both got a Gen 4 evo, both are in the same experience group, have the same base special attack stat, both evolution methods involve using an item that starts with the word razor at night (they both also drop their evo item in Legends: Arceus), AND they have the same BST. If they had just put Sneasel in ice path instead of Mt. Silver for some reason, they may have been version exclusive to each other.
Edit: Can’t believe I have to say this, but when I say counterparts, I mean version exclusive.
Edit 2: I mean version exclusive in the johto games.
Edit 3: Assuming people are actually reading this, yes, delibird and gligar were counterparts in the johto games.

Sorry for the blurry photo 😭 just baffles me to think team sky is what Michael is known for nowadays 😭 not even a picture of his face it’s literally the team sky logo.

Just finished this playthrough!

I challenged myself to play shield but with only pokemon that are like animals I work with at the rescue. I work at an exotic pet rescue that mostly takes in reptiles.

I did have to take some liberties with some species, as there are no specific Iguana or tegu pokemon haha but I did pick lizards that fit that animals vibes the best.

Inteleon - Pascal the Veiled Chameleon

Galvantula - Gretchen the Salmon pink bird eating Tarantula (honestly, VIP of the team and this surprised me)

Salazzle - Sybil the Rhinoceros Iguana (she's super sassy and is a diva so this suits her so well)

Krookodile - Galaxy the Black and white Tegu (I know he's a croc, but trust me, the vibes fit Galaxy)

Flapple - Chacha the Chahoua (pronounced cha-who-ah) Gecko (why are there no gecko pokemon? This is the closest there is to looking like a gecko we have atm)

Cinccino - Snaps the Chinchilla (I did also have a Minccino named after her brother, Buttons)

Honorable mentions:

Liepard - Gary the serval

Croagunk - Frogert the Cane Toad (not pictured)

Sandaconda - Martini the Olive Python (not pictured)

Onix - Deadpool the Blood Python

Torkoal - Tor the Salcata Tortoise

I definitely had to figure out move sets for coverage, but I think I did pretty good.

I also didn't use as many snake or turtle pokemon as I thought I would.

Mikey, if you see this and are ever in Vancouver Canada, you are 100% invited to come meet the animals 🦎🐍🐢 I got back into Pokemon after watching your videos, and it's been so fun bonding with the kids about both animals and pokemon since. I started playing when yellow came out (I still have my Gameboy colour and all my games) and I'm catching up on the game I've missed now. Thank you for helping me rediscovered my love of pokemon.

*All animals in the pictures are ambassador animals to help teach people about these amazing animals, but also to do their research before getting a pet.

hope I get on aspitpiay

this is my first artwork EVER and worked hard on it, i am not an artist at all so I know it doesn't look very good but I still love the channel and wanted to contribute

This is Friend, he's my first shiny hunt in ZA and I love him! They say you're not supposed to have favorites but he's my favorite and I'm not sorry.

Please ignore the martini one, I haven’t ironed that design out yet
Love watching the pokemon meme review videos with my puppy. She pays attention everytime the clap happens

Asylum Patient Roae

I'm still waiting for my Legends or Let's GO Johto but Pokémon will exist until the sun explodes and as long as Pokémon exists the first generation will have remakes. I at least hope a future Kanto Remake isn't as conservative with its Dex and allows both the player and the characters to have AT LEAST future evolutions of Kanto Pokémon and regional variants before the post game. There's no reason not to besides "the original game didn't". The evolutions at least in universe should exist as well as gen 2 Pokémon that only exist in Kanto for some reason

Nurse Oleana

But tbh this Helium symbol looks a lot like a sleeping ditto disguised as an air balloon...is this what Heatran will use?
