(this is for the remaster on steam) It's not to difficult to get everything working properly, but you do need a specific proton version. Installing proton-cachyos-11.0-20261005-slr-x86_64 with protonup-qt (currently the first option to come up, other proton-cachyos version may work) was the only one that I found to work, as all the others would skip the movies and start menu. Restart steam and go into properties -> compatibility to change to the correct version. Putting PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command% in the launch option may also help with some graphical bugs.

When you think about it, Soujuurou's existence is necessary, so that Protagonists would be saved. Without him, he won't be able to give Aoko the value she'd live with, hence she'll still settle a score with Touko, hence Touko will still be killed in future. Without Soujuurou's values and Touko being alive, she won't be able to give Mystic Eyes Killer and teach the moral value to Tohno Shiki, if Touko is killed she won't be able to complete her vessel type puppet, heck the reason she's able to have the reason to complete it is due to Aoko sparing her just by curse hence she made a breakthrough of transferring body, hence Shirou's new body in Heaven's Feel route. And without Touko in Kara no Kyokai, Ryougi Skiki won't be saved from the madness of her Mystic Eyes. I'm not that well versed in El Melloi spin off but I think Touko does have some importance to the timeline. But welp the things I'm focusing on are 4 main pillars of TYPE-MOON. So yeah Soujuurou is the savior to other series protagonists in a way.

Even though some people wank Beo way too much, others heavily downplay him. There are literally people who think he isn't even Servant level just because Sono-G beat him, which is ridiculous.

They completely ignore the fact that he fought a DAA with an Elder title, and they think his only strength is just his Mystery and Magic Resistance.

And for some reason, he gets so much hate. I actually feel bad for Beo—he was abandoned twice and fell in love with Soujuurou 😭😭😭

I was wondering if anyone knows a sweater that resembles Soujyurou's sweater and where to find it or if there is someone who makes custom clothing that is good enough quality that you could wear it daily and not only for cosplay reasons.

The closest one I found was a hurley sweater, but I can't find the listing online anywhere😥

While one uses the universe's thermal energy as a power source for their attack, the other uses human history as fuel. Of course, even if their outputs are on completely different scales, I absolutely love the similarity.

Can someone help me, I can't visualize how Aoko looks like in this, does both of her arms crossed? Where her left hand is clenched and the right hand is open? Or are the hands Soujuurou's?

Soujuurou is the protagonist of Mahoyo. Not "oh hes one of the protagonists". No. He's the protagonist. This is not up to debate.

This is a problem. Because it should be Aoko

A bit of literary analysis here. For the protagonist of your story be a protagonist, he needs to protagonize the themes of your story, its main thematic conflict, and be intertwined with the cast.

Soujuurou achieves these. Aoko does not.

The main theme of Mahoyo is progress of society and consumerism. Soujuurou is subjected to both and is the view by which said themeing is developed. He is the heart of Mahoyo, and its themes DEPEND ON HIM to be delivered, and he carries them to the other characters, including Aoko.

The main conflict of Mahoyo is man vs. Society. Mahoyo IS about debating the loss of collectivism, the fear/inevitability of change and isolatiom. Soujuurou protagonizes the MAIN CONFLICT OF THE VN.

He has 50% of the P.O.V. He's the only character that has tangible effect on the entire cast.

Aoko is not the protagonist. But she SHOULD BE. Because the main plot is about her family feud. But what Aoko ends up being is a deuteragonist who has an arc focused on her.
