Cartoon Network leaks including high resolution artworks / renders

I just scrolled through Crunchyroll and saw it. I am so happy to be able to watch it again.

After nearly two years (that's right, TWO YEARS), I've uploaded a new demo for Witch's Talisman!

It only includes the first chapter, but it now better reflects what the game will look like in its finished state. The only placeholder assets that remain are music and UI. I've done a lot of boring things to make the game better optimized, and it can now be played in browser!

Play it here on itch.io

Day 13 of Magical Girl Inktober! Today's prompt is Sailor Fuku and I have drawn Melmo from Osamu Tezuka's obscure magical girl series Marvelous Melmo wearing it.

im planning to do a dnd campain about glitter force, but i didnt watch glitter force and now i can't watch it since it left netfiex so sploilers are fine (NO I WILL NOT GET CRUNCHIROLL SINCE IDK IF GLITTER FORCE IS ON CRUNCHY ROLL)

DO WHATCHA WILL

I watched Dessert Catch! Teenieping episode 6 the other day, and it inspired this fanart i made. The episode was about Donutping becoming so mesmerized with the transformations, that she wanted to transform with Romi herself. But she couldn’t, because she wasn’t a Royal Teenieping. So… she fakes being a Royal Teenieping, but it failed in the end. That’s what inspired me to make this art! The hairstyle Princess is wearing is sorta inspired by the circle braid hairstyle, which is kind of a black hairstyle (black as in African) but i used it anyway and made it big to not offend black people

If you love magical girls and want to explore the genre in novel form, Guardians of Dawn has a premise worth checking out: reincarnated elemental warriors, forbidden magic, fairy-tale retellings, and an East Asian-inspired fantasy world.
The series consists of four books—Zhara, Ami, Yuli, and Suhwa—and follows the Guardians of Dawn, who are reborn when the world falls out of balance.
The first book introduces Jin Zhara, a girl trying to conceal her magical abilities, protect her younger sister, and survive her stepmother’s cruelty. When a mysterious plague begins transforming magicians into monsters, she becomes involved with a secret magical liberation society and must discover the elemental warrior within herself.
And the magical-girl connection is explicit: S. Jae-Jones named Sailor Moon, Magic Knight Rayearth, and Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne as inspirations in this interview. Seeing Jeanne mentioned alongside those other classics really caught my attention!
The fairy-tale influences add another appealing layer: Zhara draws on Cinderella, while Ami draws on Beauty and the Beast. The author has also explained that she wanted the covers to evoke shōjo manga from the late ’90s and early 2000s, and supplied examples from her own collection to her publisher (source).
I have the complete quartet on my shelf and haven’t started it yet, so I’m sharing this as an enthusiastic discovery rather than a review. But if magical girls reimagined through elemental fantasy and fairy tales sounds like your kind of thing, take a look at this series. That combination is exactly why I picked it up. 🌙✨

Day 12 of Magical Girl Inktober! Today's prompt is Maid Café, featuring Amu from Shugo Chara in her Amulet Clover outfit, serving a delicious slice of cake!

Been working on some stuff to update the itch.io page!

There was a comic that had a magical girl encountering a criminal and she use her magic powers to turn him into a fleshy cube, after that he ask if she can turn him back, but she said no because he's a bad guy, the style resembles of an anime, it wasn't fully colored, and this person made more comics that I think had comic dubs, if anyone knows this please let me know.

I'm currently rewatching all of Ojamajo Doremi and I finally on Dokkan. Is it normal that despite me being almost 23 and have already rewatched this show so many times that I still cry at certain eps and even listening to some of the songs? Literally finished a random episode and was listening to the ending theme of dokkan and reading the lyrics and I started tearing up. I love these girls so much. The things they went through together and all the stories that were so emotional always hit me deep in my heart. Especially the ending. No matter how many times I rewatch it I ALWAYS end up tearing by the finale.

I genuinely can't get over this show. I love absolutely everything about it. I love how all the girls cherish and grow alongside eachother. I love Hana and her growth. I love seeing them act as her parents. I love LOVE the different type of deep themes this show tackles. And despite how heartbreaking it is I love the ending. I literally have no one in my life to talk with on how amazing thid show is and despite it being a "kids" show its actually EXTREMELY mature and emotional. I feel like everyone should watch this cause it definitely teaches you a lot of things.

Again- I can't stop saying how much I love this anime and how much I cry whenever I watch or remember it. Just listening to the endings songs alone make me tear up most of the time😭😭😭😭

Does anyone else feel this heavily about this show or am I just way too emotional

Day 11 of Magical Girl Inktober! Today's prompt is Healing, and I have drawn Sailor Chibi Moon teaching Sailor Saturn a healing spell to save JunJun.

This afternoon, Kidscreen, the website for children's television production in the United States, unveiled the program for the Franco-British company Mediawan at the upcoming MIPCOM Kids.

It reveals the arrival of a new occidental magical girl mystery series: Witch Detective.

This announcement intrigues me because the concept is strikingly similar to that of the Japanese magical girl anime : Tantei Opera Milky Holmes, a franchise from the Japanese group Bushiroad.

I wonder if all this will lead to the resale of Japanese toys with a few modifications, changing the look of the originally Japanese characters to give them a more Western appearance, like in the image I'm showing you here.

This reminds me of the many American pilots from the 90s based on the Japanese manga and anime license Saint Seiya, or its international name, Knights of the Zodiac, when they transformed it into an American cartoon or a live-action version like Power Rangers.

Japanese studios have made numerous attempts at revival over the years without ever managing to conquer the American market, just like the latest film adaptation in 2023, which also failed to find its audience.

Sometimes it seems that as soon as a Japanese studio launches an original idea, Western productions rush to create a similar version of it with completely different looks from the original, as if the sole purpose were to copy the anime.

Is this simply a sharing of influences or a genuine recycling of concepts? Yet the Japanese studios and their manga artists who originally created these unique franchises probably deserve a little more recognition for their originality, don't you think?

1st episode is now available for streaming in YT and Crunchyroll!

Pls do watch and support the reboot so we get more magical girl animes.

So if you didn't know the Cures will occasionally "call" the Rose Pact toy, and these are marked by a beeping that kinda sounds like a doorbell. Since the Rose Pact has a clock function, they will call randomly throughout the day, before the store "closes" until the morning. That being 7:05 AM, where a call will immediately come through. If you're sleeping, you will get woken up by it. And it's not like it's next to my bed either, it's in a dresser on the opposite side of my room, and it still wakes me up! So if you ever get the toy Rose Pact, keep this in mind. Or just don't keep it in your bedroom. Or if you need to get up at 7:05 AM, maybe get one
