CMP Surprised me

I finally bit the bullet(pun intended) and order an Expert Grade last week. I was fully expecting that I'd be waiting 3-4 days from submission to getting a payment link, and then 2-5 weeks before I received it based on everything I had read.

I submitted Wednesday morning, had a payment link by noon, a ship notice by Thursday, and received the M1 Garand by Friday Afternoon. I was totally not expecting that, but not objecting in the slightest :-)

That’s awesome I submitted my payment today in the morning! I hope I can get mine by Tuesday judging from your time frame. What serial number did you get? I requested sub 2 million.

Mine was in the 4.6 mill range. I was fine with that, because I wanted a shootable rifle and its in outstanding shape.

That's good to hear. Sounds like they really streamlined the process. Took a total of 40 days for my Garand to show up when I ordered in summer of last year. Hopefully this kind of smooth service is still the case when the M-14s go on sale.

It won’t lol. It’s just quick now because there’s not very many people ordering stuff.

Yeh, I think it was a combination of them finally having the full webstore up, and also having a good stock of Expert grade rifles right now.

I placed my order for a reclaimed expert on the 7th. It got approved and I paid on the 8th. It shipped out on the 9th and I'm expecting it tomorrow on the 12th.
