Contacting cmp
So I wanted to calm down about it before asking. Got my first m1 garand from the cmp last month and had a bad time with fedex. Basically had to drive an hour to pick it up from the hub because they were too lazy to deliver. But in the process I got told I couldn’t schedule a pick up time because I wasn’t the sender. Made no sense but ok, I tried for two days to get through to cmp but only ever got an answering machine. Anyone else have this experience with contacting them?

They are oddly bad at contacting, I had ordered a 1911, I got an error screen at checkout was told to contact cmp 1911 for further help,, money was deducted from my account, but I never got my pistol and after I called them they said they had no record of my purchase….

Sounds like a FedEx problem and not a CMP problem. I had FedEx deliver my Special Grade years ago when no one was home because the driver signed for it. 🤦♂️
Then last year I bought one of the Remington 40X rifles and CMP missed one digit on the shipping label. They sent it to 11th St instead of 111th St, so I called every number I could until I reached someone. I got through on an armorer number and they helped instead of transferring me. I ended up just driving to the hub to pick up the rifle since the unknown people at the other house weren’t home to accept it. When CMP emailed me the next day I told them I was able to pick it up at the FedEx hub. They apologized, blah, blah.
