LAX Trump Administration ‘Drawing Up Plans’ to Block International Flights to L.A. (LAX) and Other Sanctuary Cities

More proof the Trump administration is often thinking about how to hurt Californians and Angelonos. They already created the Iran war and increased flight costs. International tourism is down. Now they want Angelinos to take connecting flights and pay even more to travel.

LAX PSA You dont need to get a face scan at the airport

At TSA you can decline having your photo taken. I’m shocked how many people just go along with it but all you need to say is “No thanks” or “I’m declining” or just simply “No”. It’s probably moot since we’re all in the background of cameras all the time at the airport but even still, just giving you all some info

Been a a few years since I’ve been to LAX but I had no clue that they installed a people mover! Only been on one and that was at MCO.

LAX Just a heads up to anyone flying Delta out of LAX, they’re understaffed, have absolutely zero coordination and bag drop off lines are taking anywhere between 1 to 3 hours

LAX Favorite Places in LA to cry?

Saw this in Denver and another city sub.

Personally I’ve cried in the IKEA in Burbank but I don’t know if I’d recommend it necessarily.

Here’s before-and-after satellite photos of the area near LAX surrounded by Century Blvd, Airport Blvd, Arbor Vitae St, and La Cienega.

Second pic is annotated to label everything. The stuff shaded gray is what remained the same. There are many areas where I just could not figure out what they’re for, please let me know if you know.

LAX How the heck are people getting home from LAX???

Obviously convincing someone to pick you up is the goal, but that’s not always possible.

I feel like it’s worse every time now. Uber/lyfts are in the triple digits and take 20-30 mins to come, plus waiting on and cramming into the stupid LAX IT shuttle. It’s an hour from bag to being on the highway, and you’ve basically bought another plane ticket for the privilege.

Is there any solution??

That was fast to approval. If only they can do the people mover this fast.

The board voted unanimously to increase the $4 fee to $6 for all companies providing passenger pick-ups and drop-offs at the airport, either within the terminal area or at the LAX-It lot. The fee is expected to increase to $12 for pickups or drop-offs within the central terminal area.
