PikabooIRL's Twitch live chat was begging him not to become a gambling streamer and stop promoting this Tradeify sponsor, he listened, but at the cost of dealing with breaking his engagement after he had signed a contract with them.

He had to abruptly end his stream during the sponsor segment, deleted the VOD and said he had to answer to his private messages offstream.

He insisted that he had no clue what he was promoting and he thought it was for ''educationnal'' purpose.
A quick look into the predatory mechanics of the prop firm Tradeify would have prevented this major fumble with his personal brand and community.

What people find out after a quick research:

It's free to sign up on their website, but you need to pass a trader qualification evaluation that costs $97 to $510 upfront, depending on the account size (25K, 50K, 100K, etc.) and the type of program (Growth, Select, or Lightning) you choose.

The evaluation is heavily restricted by an End-of-Day trailing drawdown (which automatically ratchets your risk floor upward as you make money), a strict profit consistency rule (meaning a single lucky day cannot make up the bulk of your target), and a minimum trading days requirement.

All of these rules enforce a mandatory trading velocity and push you to take higher risks more often—either to rapidly dilute a lucky day to maintain consistency, or to outrun a trailing drawdown floor that is constantly chasing your balance.

The moment you break a rule, your account and profits are immediately locked. To try again, you must pay an additional fee to reset your progress. This loop is exactly how Tradeify, like other prop firms, generates the vast majority of its profit—relying on a steady stream of upfront evaluation fees, reset fees, and inevitable failures.

Even if you read the guidelines, most people don't understand the hidden subtleties of how these metrics interact in real-time. This complexity is so deceptive that even top-tier streamers like Pikaboo have gotten visibly confused while their own sponsors tried to explain the mechanics live on stream.

To feed this system, the firm uses free-entry tournaments. These events heavily promote accessibility, creating the illusion of easy profits while matching amateur participants against seasoned professional traders and prominent trading personalities. Ultimately, these competitions serve as a brilliant marketing funnel designed to attract crowds of beginners, leading them straight into buying paid evaluations and trapped inside the firm's paid ecosystem.

Apparently its a known issue enough to warn players when they launch the game.

That sort of thing is my bag, baby.
