This administration of pure cruelty should no longer be normalized with “satire”, we are well past that point. this shit isn’t funny anymore.

The problem with these is it just seems like a re-enactment not a parody. Some of it is slightly amusing (Jost as Hegseth) but most is just meh

Yeah exactly. This is the issue. And it's not really SNL's fault I suppose because I don't think there really is anything they can do to make this funny. Satire requires embellishment and exaggeration. But you exaggerate any of this stuff and it becomes just genuine actual Nazi bullshit. There's no way to go further with it without going too far.

22 minutes has been doing an alright job of satire/parody imo but I can see how it's difficult to pull off
