Does this crack work with Steam OS? Am I missing any specific launch options that are required to run the crack?

The RUNE version of Forza Horizon 6 boots to the splash screen, then shows a black screen and crashes to desktop. Logs do not show any relevant error message, just that the app crashed in Lutris. Tried GE-Proton and CachyOS Proton 11.

So I have been trying to get FH6 to work all day. I have tried many different ways of installing it from different sources and none of them have worked. I followed guides, tried my own methods, and still nothing. Fitgirl Repacks was my last ditch effort before I give up and just buy the game.

I installed the torrent through qbittorrent, set up wine with the windows xp version, and used it to run the setup.exe.

This is the second time I have tried this, and both times it has been stuck on 0% and no time left shown. The first time I tried to run the setup.exe, it stayed like this for 30 minutes with no progress. I know repacks take a while to install because they are super compressed, but everything I am seeing from my research online is showing they pause half way through the install process. I can't find any info on repacks freezing at the very beginning. Am I missing something or is this normal for repacks?

I'm trying to play Marvel Tokon (the pirated version of RUNE) on Linux Mint using Wine-GE (or similar) and the latest CachyOS Proton version. My understanding is that the cracked version removes the anti-cheat, so it should run via Proton, but upon launching, it simply displays a "Fatal Error" and closes. Has anyone managed to fix this?

I am using cachyOS and i installed the game from fitgirl (I have also tried the ElAmigos version i had the same error) the autolaod HV is disabled when i click next it sends me to the denuvo anti tamper support page and i can not get the game to launch I would appreciate any help and I use the latest version of proton cachyOS

Yeah i know I may be complicating things, this is 50% out of curiosity and 50% because i actually want to know how to play games on linux (not via proton/wine) that are native on both linux and windows

Now my question is: Where can i download the linux native part? Is there a specific site im missing or can i make my own execution file for linux? And if so how do i do it?

Ive been getting this popup "denovo tried to delete the token, Is the hypervisor running?" when I launch FC26, Im running on Lutris though wine, trying to run "FC26.exe". Bypassing the fitgirl repack laucher becuase im 99% sure it doesn't work on linux. I saw some guy on ubuntu got a fitgirl repack working but i think it was without denovo. If anyone knows how to bypass this or not would be a huge help im a noob

so it's showing that persistent visual c++ 2015 error and in the video I installed it through winetricks in the "~/games/umu/umu-default" prefix. but even after installing it was showing that error. I even tried installing with protontricks as I though maybe the prefix "umu" is created by proton so winetricks wasn't installing properly but that didn't helped as well.

what else should I try does anyone know the solution to this

EDIT -> alright so I got it working.. the thing was to install c++ 2026 instead of 2015. But still the game is NOT running through lutris it's showing "failed to get online fix interface". It's only running through steam.

I keep reading online that it‘s working on Linux but I never see anyone actually showing the crack on Linux. As for me (trying the fitgirl repack) it just stops with a psn error already

I haven't been able to get this game working. I run a 7600 with a 7900XT and 32GB of DDR5@5600 CL30 RAM. Using the RUNE release.

Using a freshly updated CachyOS Proton (through Heroic Games Launcher) it opens a black window then crashes.

Using Wine 11.16 instead with HGL, it launches, compiles shaders, and crashes after the splash screens (Capcom, Quixel Megascans, etc). It shows this error below:

Bottles was also attempted and showed a similar error window.

The game is technically new and haven't been able to find anything yet.

I recently switched to Linux (Fedora) a couple of days ago. I'm trying to play The Witcher 3 Complete Edition.

I downloaded the game from Anker Game and

• Added the .exe to Steam as a non-Steam game and used Proton and it didn't work.
• Tried Lutris also didn't work.

I then used fitgirl repack and tried Bottles game launches but no DLSS option and no proper NVIDIA support even after enabling related settings in the bottle, installed the bottles again and now the game doesn't even launches.

Has anyone successfully run The Witcher 3 (especially the Next-Gen/Complete Edition with DLSS/ray tracing) on Linux?

I searched the sub and ProtonDB before posting. Any help or detailed setup guide would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.

things i've tried:

The game doesnt want to launch at all. Proton version, launch options and whatever I do with the steam_api.txt doesnt matter. It refuses to launch, tried lutris.

Im using the DODI rune repack, applied the cracks. Steam didnt generate me a compatdata file. Im stuck, im new to linux and this annoys me very much.

I am trying to install fc2 with the run installer first option using setup.exe file and giving this error for all wine and proton versions I have. Can someone help me to fix this?

Info: I am new to Linux so I might be doing something wrong.

So far: I have changed the main location to install games. I tried to launch the game installation .exe with both wine and proton. With proton the game appears to be running and after a minute "stops" (the stop button in the launcher turns into play). With Wine a pop-up window appears, says it is loading something and after a minute disappears.

Q: am I doing something wrong? Should I try another game that someone knows is working?

When I launch Street Fighter 6 through Proton, I get:

The game itself is installed and launches far enough to show this error, but it cannot initialize the Steam API. could you guys help me follow the launcher's instructions on linux.

Ok, I have downloaded this game from fitgirl Repacks as I wanted to try this game out. I downloaded the custom proton layers available on cs rin (Ge 11.1,16 and 17 x86-64). on using the first one,it just keeps running without opening and on using the other two, if I'm on steam->(it latches onto another game then gives a steam api error) and if I'm on Lutris->(the same steam api error arrives). what should I do to fix this?

The original error i was given was "Unable to create interface Isteamuser". Once I added "lsteamclient=key & d=value" under graphics driver, I ended up getting the error in the attached image. I have also added "WINEDLLOVERRIDES="winmm=n,b;steam_api64=n,b" %command%" to the pre-launch script, which seemed to have no influence.

I have tried almost every proton version available with no luck. I have also SEARCHED this sub - both the Wiki and former threads.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
