QUESTION - ALL LINUX SYSTEMS [elden ring nightreign] Failed to load original steamclient. Error code: 126

Usually, this type of error fixes itself if you launch the game via steam. Happens on windows too. But not always, so do let me know if that did it

Idk then really. Maybe the crack files are corrupted/broken?

fyi it also the online fix and seamless multiplayer mod could that have anything to do with it ?

if ur trying to launch it with seamless co op u need steam + spacewar with the correct WINEDLLOVERRIDES command

Go to game properties, under Variables add a new one called WINEDLLOVERRIDES, fill the field next to it per this guide

You cannot load games downloaded from SteamRip that are tagged "coop" directly in Heroic; instead, you must add them to Steam as a non-Steam game, enable compatibility, launch them using GE-Proton or Proton Experimental, and then enter the following in the launch options "WINEDLLOVERRIDES="OnlineFix64,SteamOverlay64,winmm,dnet,steam_api64=n,b" %command%"
