QUESTION - ALL LINUX SYSTEMS [Onimusha] Would Steam Machine work with HV bypass the same as Steam Deck? (SteamOS)

It looks like SD is zen 2 cpu and SM is zen 4 cpu. SM supports CPUID faulting natively. Since SM just came out recently, there’s no HV bypass guide. Should I just follow the guide for SD? Would they behave the same when it comes to HV bypass on SteamOS?

Steam Machine uses SteamOS which is just another linux distro. I dont see why it would be any different. Follow the guide for normal linux distros, idk how steamdeck bypass works

There is a guide for both older CPUs and Newer CPUs. You should read it on LinUwUx runtime github repository. It has all the steps

Isn’t that just a compatibility tool for protons? I thought it’s different than setting up bypass such as umip, dkms, kvm, etc
