Translation Request Help Translating 1935 Newspaper Paragraph

Post image

I was trying to find some information about a couple of my family members and came across a paragraph in a 1935 newspaper that I believe has both of their names listed: “Maksis-Erichs Puritis” (which I have a good amount of information on) and “Elza Kurmis” (whom I've been searching for without any luck). However, I can't quite make out the translation of the rest of the text. Any help would be really appreciated. Paldies!

News from the Strenči parish.

Newly married: Maksis Erihs Puritis from Trikāta and Elza Kurmis from Strenči.

Next church service – confirmation of the youth in the church of Strenči at 10 am on July 14. Song lyric pages (will be distributed I guess?)

Cemetery holiday on the graveyard of Strenči – at 10 am on July 28. Once again “song lyric pages”.

Pastor W. Lorbergs.

Thank you! Shoot, so not as much meat as I thought related specifically to Elza in that copy.

Also, figured I’d ask, is that standard or typical cursive for that time period or is that a special form of Latvian cursive only found in that time? It looks very unique to anything else I’ve see in older documents so just curious!

It's the gothic script, it was used in Latvia until early 20th century.
