Why is there a tree here

just playing around with a couple mods only bd armoury but then i land after testing out a nuke and find this lone tree.

it is a scannable Baobab Tree object added by the breaking ground dlc. You must have breaking ground installed. Try scanning it

I do have breaking ground installed so that must be it, sadly i have lost that world forever as i had to delete everything because my school blocked steam as an app so it was just taking up space

Too bad. But there is more than one of those trees, you can find multiple within an hour driving distance from KSP. So you can just search a new one once you can play again. Edit: it's just in the Grasslands biome,

Buy the game on gog and copy it to a flash drive.

Or if you school still has disc drives you can copy ksp to disc and play it from there.

It's a terrain scatter that spawns randomly and, iirc, can be scanned with one of the science arms to get some points. Same as certain rocks on other planets

Yeah maybe but ive had that message for a while and i havent seen anything like this, havent seen a single tree in my time playing (without mods ofc)
