Recently seeing the trend of them want to participate in Garba

This is the Daporijo MMS scandal, from Upper Subansiri district in Arunachal Pradesh, and it is genuinely one of the most absurd things I have read about our police.

On 12 June 2009, cops picked up two kids, a boy and a girl, both minors, from Tadak Dulom bridge in Pakam Colony. They took them to the Daporijo police station and locked them in a room. Then ASI Boham Bo and head constable Duyu Tatu forced the two children to have sex. Two other constables, Rajesh Nayam and Tapar Narah, just stood there. A third constable, Taji Leya, actually objected and said this is wrong, but he was ignored. They filmed the whole thing on a mobile phone and started passing it around as an MMS.

Then they buried it. Bo went to the families and threatened them into keeping quiet. The kids' names were not even entered in the general diary of the police station. The clip kept floating around the state for almost two years until it finally broke out in March 2011, and only after the boy's father filed a complaint. That is how long two children had to sit on a crime done to them by the very men in uniform, inside a room that was supposed to be safe.

Now the cruel part. Instead of the cops taking the blame, the boy got accused of [r@pe](mailto:r@pe). He was arrested and thrown into a juvenile home for 6 months. Inside, he was assaulted by another cop named Rakesh Nayam. So this kid lost half a year of his life over something the police themselves made happen.

And then think about the girl. She was forced into sex, filmed, and watched her face get passed around the whole state. The only person on earth who understood exactly what she was going through was the boy, because he had lived the same horror in the same room on the same day. And then he was dragged away and locked up. So on top of the assault, she had to carry losing the only friend who could sit with her and say "yeah, that happened to me too". She fell into depression. Not from one wound, but from two.

And the cherry on top. The court did not touch any of the other cops, because apparently they "did not physically touch the children", they just stood there, threatened them and forced them to have s&x. So standing around while two kids are coerced into sex is a not guilty in this country.

And of course ASI Boham Bo, the main man, was a BJ Party karyakarta. The same man already had a rape case pending against him from way back in 1991, when he was a constable in Kalaktang.

The Arunachal women's commission even recommended Rs 5 lakh each for both kids. like seriously? 5lakh is what you are saying all this trauma is worth? And this was a 2011 case. Nobody spoke about it. The judiciary only gave a decision this past week.

Now where tf are the MRA crowd. They show up loud and fast when the accused is a man and the victim is a woman, because that is the case that lets them scream about false accusations and gold-digging and "believe all women" being a scam. But the moment the man is the VICTIM, and worse, the victim of a woman-adjacent situation they cannot spin, they vanish. Because there is no anti-women angle to sell. So where were they? Exactly where they always are when the story is inconvenient. Nowhere.

If you don't like the dress, don't let them enter. WTF is the point of calling women "whores" just because they're wearing backless dresses? That makes absolutely no sense. Some worship idols of goddesses while slut-shaming women. The hypocrisy is unbelievable

I’d highly recommend going with a white face paint rather than a white foundation because it provides more coverage. Issue with face paints though is that you need a LOT of setting powder.
