Mini glowup - 4 years apart

Greetings everyone. Around 4 years ago, I got my Imperial Assault core box for my bday. I loved the game so I started painting the minis to have a nicer experience. Like most people, I tried following Sorastro's tutorials and slowly got paint on most of my minis. My first minis.

I got a bit nostalgic these past weeks so I decided to revisit them and give them a glow-up. So here's my Vader and Royal Guard - 2022 vs 2026.

What a long, strange trip it's been :)

Noice. That's a huge improvement! The blending on the guards is gorgeous, but Vader really pops, even from a distance!

Thank you! It's very different than how i usually paint my warhammer guys, but I'm learning with them once again!

That's still a feat in itself that they are painted. It completely changed the experience for me frkm the bare plastic :)
