Question about the Unlimited Screens add-on

Without this add-on, Hulu is limited to two screens. Is that for Hulu specifically or for all bundled services? For example, our household has 4 users (A, B, C, and D). If users A and B are streaming on Hulu, are C and D unable to stream or could they stream from a bundled service like Disney+?

This pop up will not go away. Pressing the green okay button doesn’t do anything. I tried relaunching the app and it still pops up.

Digimon Adventure on Hulu - Almost all of the episodes have no audio or video. I've been trying to watch this show for a couple of months now, but have been unable to. Out of 53 episodes only 10 of the episodes work, those being the 10 that are also available on Disney+.

I did some troubleshooting on this with Hulu support and they were supposedly escalating to their engineering teams for further support, but that was weeks ago. Can anyone else confirm that the episodes don't work for them?

Years Long Issue

Sorry if this question has been asked a million times, the only reddit post I found via google search was from 6 years ago.

We have issues with Hulu randomly skipping ahead like 10 seconds or so…

- We have a lot of streaming services (disney, hbo, peacock, netflix, paramount, prime, and then some), only Hulu has ever done this.

- only suggestions i’ve seen is clearing cache and what not, but none of the other streaming services does this despite us never clearing cache for them. and it happens on both tablets/ipads, firestick, roku, and laptops.

- years ago i tweeted to the hulu twitter page complaining and of course they mentioned clearing cache and the usual suspects… but why is Hulu, years later, still the only one we as a household experiences this? And on all devices?

My tweet was at least 5 years ago… probably more. it’s still an issue.

Why only Hulu? I just don’t get it.

Everytime I try to login and watch live TV on the app from my Ipad, it says I don't have that subscription but when I look into my account details , i'm definitely still subscribed. I've deleted the app and redownloded, updated, etc.

Not sure where to post this so..

Has anyone else been experiencing skipping? Almost every episode, it just randomly skips forward like 30 seconds. And I don't understand why it's doing it.

Within the last week Hulu will not load on three different TVs by three different brands.

Hulu must be deleted, reinstalled, and relogged into on each device for every use.

I’ve tried clearing/deleting cache as well as clearing and logging out all devices stored on the account.

Re: Atlanta (S1E1) on the TCL Hulu app:

It keeps crashing at the ratings screen.
Can’t even get the episode to start! Other shows are working fine.

I’ve tried everything — power cycled, uninstalled/reinstalled the app, cleared cache … no joy

Can anyone else on TCL confirm this is a Hulu problem and not a me problem?

Is there a way to get in touch with Hulu to alert them to this, if so?

Their CS number and chat are mostly useless for this issue.

Thanks in advance

Hello Redditors!

I have been a Hulu subscriber for over a decade. I subscribe directly via Hulu dot com, not through a 3rd party.

For the last 5 years I have paid for my subscription via Hulu gift cards. Every month I buy a gift card and load it into my account.

Except now I can't.

On Hulu's website, when I click 'Payment info - gift card - add' I get this message:

"We can't redeem this gift card right now Sorry, you cannot apply a gift card to certain subscriptions. Your gift card is still available for use. Visit our for more details"

Anyone else running into this? Any suggestions?

This is happening before I even enter the gift card code. It isn't a problem with the code. It won't let me enter any gift card at all.

I prefer NOT to create a brand new account because I will lose my viewing history.

Thank you in advance for any suggestions.

I just got off a nearly 30 minute call with Hulu support, wherein I was told that gift cards no longer work with specific bundles. In my case, it was the HBO add-on. I asked the person to check with a supervisor to get a credit applied, since the gift card did show as valid. I was told they could not, because I had been credited $4.70 (really!) for my initial inconvenience when trying to apply the gift card in the first place 2 weeks ago!

When asked what I could do with the $25 gift card, I was told to "apply it to another account." Or basically, eat it. So, there you have it. Why they don't work, and what they are prepared to do about it.

Update: I solved my problem today, but I'm not wild about how the problem was solved.

1) My subscription had lapsed since I wasn't able to add my gift card before the subscription expired.

2) I had to re-subscribe (pick a plan) and add a credit card to my account. My credit card was then charged for one month's plan. This was unavoidable.

3) As soon as my credit card was charged and my account was re-subscribed, I was able to add the gift card with no issue to pay for next months subscription.

While annoying, this did solve the problem for me.

Has been that way almost all year for me. Support is useless. Have around $500 in gift cards that I can't redeem.
