Hello there Homestarmy! I go by Alfred/Fred or the FredMiester and I’ve recently got back into Homestar Runner after 5 or so years and honestly I really do love the series. It’s quirky, zany, and overall interesting, a huge stable for the 2000’s gregs. Now, although I do really love Homestar and all his friends, I do have some complaints (or idk what you wanna call them, opinions?) about the series and what I would’ve loved to see.

1. More Characters
As much as I love the main 12 characters we see, it does get kind of empty. Like, because we only get to see these 12 characters the most it feels like these 12 characters are the only ones living in Free Country USA. And with no other new characters around besides the main 12, it feels empty. I would’ve like to see other characters that The Brothers Chaps could’ve created, they don’t even have to appear much! Hell, they could be background characters! I just wanna see what type of wacky designs they’d have! I would’ve also liked the possibility of having more girl characters on the show. The Brothers Chaps already were close to making a new female character instead of the only girl, but they never went along with it. I keep thinking about the possibility of more female characters, like a cheerleader, or an old lady, or a disco dancer, or even a Betty boop knockoff. I dunno, I just think Marzipan being the only girl is kind of redundant. Also, of the characters that aren’t part of the main 12 (The Announcer, Senor Cardgage, The Sad Kids, The King’s Servants, ect.), we don’t see much of them, like…not a lot? If only I could go inside of their world and know every single character by heart.

Further notes on this section: I would’ve loved Champeen or Homeschool Winner if they both stayed.

2. New Environments/Locations
Throughout the series, I think we’ve seen 5 main areas the characters have been put in. I would’ve loved to see more locations, like a beach, or a supermarket, or…I dunno? A…fish…shop…? Also, new seasons and sceneries. Like, a sunrise or a sunset or a sunny day real estate set.

3. Episode Storylines
We needed more big toons! I love the sbemails but HOLY COW, gotten to the point of having more sbemails than Homestar runner toons! We all love Strong Bad’s tasty abs and his bulbous head and boxing gloves he can somehow type with, but sometimes I wanna see OTHER characters other than him. When is much Strong Bad much strong…and bad? How about a plot where a new girl enters Free Country and she has the hots for Strong Bad, they hit it off but Strong Bad makes a mistake by dating this girl because she’s completely psycho and out of her mind, like Nicky from Obsession. The toon ends with the girl being the one breaking up with Strong Bad (I dunno what reason, maybe she’s freaked out that he wears a mask 24/7), instead having the hots for another character like The Poopsmith or Pom Pom. That would’ve been funny if executed.

4. Big reveals
I’m just gonna say it, it’s been 20+ years at this point, WE NEED BIG REVEALS!! ANSWERS TO OUR QUESTIONS! But some things should just stay ambiguous, like what Strong Bad looks under his mask. Saw what he would look like on deviantart. Not pretty. Looks like a sad old man. I really want to know what The Brother Strong’s parents look like, how old Coach Z and Bubs really are, is Senor Cardgage related to The Brothers Strong or not, is Strong Sad really adopted? WHO THE HELL IS BISCUIT DOUGH HANDS MAN!? Ya know…normal mysteries.

i've been eyeing the fangamer plushies, and i'm wondering if they have the same inconsistently terrible quality that the undertale/deltarune plushies have become infamous for. i don't want to spend upwards of 25 dollars on a strong sad paunch baby plush, just for him to have improper stitching that comes apart after a month.
