Rumor HomePod 2 Image Description in the Apple Store Mentions Support for “Siri AI”
Looks like Apple got a little ahead of themselves.
In the comparison section below the Apple Store purchase page, the alt text for the HomePod 2 image reads: “HomePod, white color, full-size cylindrical design, seamless acoustic mesh exterior, multi-colored Siri AI glow on top.”
Apple already updated the HomePod 2 product page this morning with Siri AI styling and glow that matches Siri AI on the HomePod mini 2.

Arguably worse. Turned my Apple Watch Ultra 3 to crap. It can’t even shuffle my designated downloaded running playlist. Can’t ask it to check the score of a football game. Thought it was a beta bug until it got officially released… yikes. I previously loved leaving my phone at home and listening to music or podcasts (or nothing) on a walk through cellular. Now I have to pick something before I go and hope it works.
But my phone talks to me nicely with an Australian accent so that’s good. Although I’d prefer a NZ accent.

If S7 can do it, no reason the other homepods can't. They're all so close in performance.
