I know this is too early to tell, but my favourites so far this season:
From the blue team: Jonny and Aiden
Red team: Mya and Joy
These chefs have stood out to me. Hope they go far I the competition!
Do you guys agree or have your own favourites?

Just watched season 3 and 4 of Hell's kitchen, and reading about the contestants' paths after the show, it sounds like Christina and Danny were promised head chef position but given a sous chef position. Has Gordon ever given explanation for this? Seems like a really big broken promise for chefs who were told they'd be head chef.

Contestants in the show who were never heard from again even by their season cast members?

For me it would be JP vs Van.

Figured I’d share with everyone here since I like to binge watch daily Hell’s Kitchen Youtube vids. I added a spoiler in case you haven’t watched yet
Today’s vid did include S23 Hannah talking about her tragic past and what happened to her husband, along with getting help from Sous Chef Michelle. It’s a very heartwarming moment overall, and with mental health issues being more visible these days, it makes sense for the channel to include such a message to its viewers. So, to the team behind it, you have my thanks.

I'm just wondering if this pisses everyone else off the way it pisses me off. I mean, it's why Nick (S17) and Declan (S19) were robbed.

I know Ja'Nel never actually got the executive chef position, & Jon also wound up being successful, but I haven't heard anything about Mary. So what's her post HK story?

For me it’s a person saying that scallops are easy and then just butchering it.

Could someone answer this. I’ve been watching the early seasons (im up to season 6). why is there always a select few of women that either are flirting or have a crush on Gordon even though he was and still is a happily married man with children?

This might seem like some obvious silly question, but is hunger and the feeling of wanting to eat some good plated food a moderate part of why people watch Hell's Kitchen?
Would you find Hell's Kitchen more entertaining/less entertaining if you're hungry or eating food even if it's by a little bit.
I haven't watched the show but I heard the show actually takes away people's appetite rather than encouraging it and is a negligible reason why people watch or stick around for the show.
Interested to hear your thoughts on this. Whether it plays any role whatsoever in your viewership and in that of others

Has anyone else noticed in the recent seasons Chef James's seems to have grown into his face? In older seasons, I feel like I'd look at him one moment then the next and his face just got smaller and smaller
I know it's gotta be a weird illusion of the angles, but it throws me so much 😂
(Not hating at all, I love tatty daddy so much)

Happy 50th birthday to him!

I saw this video of the podcast Chef James was on, he was talking about why he left HK for a while. I thought this was a sweet interaction between all of them that I would share :-)

I stumbled across this when I was looking up Scott season 7 from Hell's Kitchen on YouTube!

Did anybody else find this way over the top? Normally I think the way Gordon pranks the finalists is good natured fun but poor Megan looked terrified! That would have stressed me the hell out too!

Which “catchphrase” or something always said/brought up in the show by one chef annoyed you the most?
EXAMPLES:
- Kimmie is from the south
- Jonathan (S22) has a daughter named saxon
- Kashia is flustrated
- Elise “BOOP”

I've been watching the season marathons (fantastic idea) starting at season 1 and there's a few things I miss.
Although I felt the "restaurant makeover" that the final 2 would do in the first few seasons felt like filler, what I really miss is the segment where the contestants are yelling at Chef Ramsay as if he screwed up.
I always thought it would be funny to tell him if he screwed up again I'd replace him with Jamie Oliver. 🤣
Any past segments you guys miss?

I genuinely think. That kaysha's elimination in episode 17 of season 12 was one of the final nails for joy in hell's kitchen. Because kaysha's was joys bestest friend and she tried everything to keep her in by dropping scott and anton after the charity night service to protect her.

Watched every season through Season 18 (which I couldn't finish) and started back up with the Season 25.
In Season 25, the number of 5 in the signature dish challenge was through the roof and through 3 episodes, it's pretty rare to see any food be criticized in the challenge stage. During the the slider challenge, everyone had a great burger.
Is this an anomaly or did they switch to only having strong chefs?
