Spoilers [SPOILERS] Which character in the game of thrones got off easy? Spoiler
Saw the post earlier about which death felt the saddest so it made me wonder what do y'all think about the most underwhelming death in the show. Like this guy should've died harder.
Imo it's little finger. That character had zero redemption so a slit in the throat in front of northerners didn't hit hard enough.
Whats yours?

This lust to see people suffer in this fictional world reminds me so much of the blood lust I have witnessed as of late in the real world. I find it troubling.

The series is very explicitly against delighting in this kind of retributive violence too. Joffrey’s death emphasizes his youth and immaturity. All of Arya’s murders are deeply sad. There is something corruptive about revenge and killing.
Idk how people can read this passage about Joffrey’s death and think that somehow it’s supposed to be good to be pumped about it.
“As he did, the boy's eyes met Tyrion's. He has Jaime's eyes. Only he had never seen Jaime look so scared. The boy's only thirteen. Joffrey was making a dry clacking noise, trying to speak. His eyes bulged white with terror, and he lifted a hand . . . reaching for his uncle, or pointing . . . Is he begging my forgiveness, or does he think I can save him?”

the high sparrow. dude only knew defeat for like .5 seconds and probably felt no pain. the upside to that is that more loveable people like mace, loras and margaery didn’t feel any pain but yeah. the high sparrow deserved to suffer for what he did to the city, those young impressionable vulnerable boys, women in general and even cersei.

Bran! Killed Hodor twice in less than an hour! Disappeared for almost two seasons. Was crap friend to people who saved his life - Jojen and Meera and gave up their lives for him. Zero charisma. Should have never became a king. Every decision that he made was terrible from the start of the show. Absolute Ahole. He technically died and became three eyed raven.

Jaime by all rights daenerys should have burned him alive with the fact he killed her father, supported cersei, was cerseis right hand man, and charged at her in battle to kill her.

Ironically enough, other than his support for Cersie, everything else you listed was morallay righteos. Aerys deserved to be left in Roose's basement for the evil shit he did and planned on doing. Daenerys brought an army of savages to Westeros and burned prisoners alive.
Jaime definitely deserved alot more suffering than he got but his actions against House Targaryen are actually heroic.

I'm not saying he deserved to be burnt for that just that he got off really lucky compared to Randall and dickon for what he did

The inhabitants of Highgarden, the Riverlands, and the Reach, who were murdered and raped and pillaged, by Jaime’s soldiers, would like a word, at this point.
Jaime commanded an army of savages. His deputies, Bronn and Randyll, were brutes.
Daenerys gave the Tarlys the options of pledging fealty or the Wall. Jaime gave Olenna the options of drinking poison, or being tortured to death.

Daenerys gave the Tarlys the option of burning or bending the knee. She also brought a vastly more savage army to Westeros.
Offering Olena poison or leaving her to Cersis was no worse than anything the Targaryens did.
I don't recall Randyll Tarly behavibg anything like Tywin did. Bronn is s mercenary. He's no worse than Dario.

I don’t think you know what morally righteous means. He strangled his cousin. He pushed a child out of a window and crippled that child. He did a lot of heinous shit.

Well, GoT isn't all about justice of course. That keeps it realistic.

Greyworm and a lot if not all the unsullied- crimes of war
Bronn and Tyrion - doesn’t need much explanation.
Arya - going all around having her personal way of dealing “justice” doesn’t bode well to me. And apparently “wise” Bran is okay with that loose cannon.

The High Sparrow who didn't believe his death was coming and then got vaporized in an instant.
Bronn who had a 0% death rate and should have had a 100% death rate.

Bronn, Samwell, Tyrion, all rewarded for treachery (and gross incompetence, in Tyrion’s case).
