Spoilers [SPOILERS] Daario was originally played by Ed and later recast with Michiel in Season 4. Ed stated that "politics" and behind-the-scenes decisions led to his departure though he had originally intended to stay for the long run. Uncanny resemblance. Spoiler

I remembered when I saw the new darrio the first time and was confused on who the fuck is this guy? 🤣

There was talk at the time that someone behind the scenes had been crude/sexist and upset Emilia and/or Nathalie -- and then the next season, Ed was gone. So I assumed it was him.

deadass every second I saw him on my screen I just got that feeling from him that's also the reason why I hated his daario

The greatest gaslight in television history, the second Daario sucked eggs, I didn't like him, his acting, or the energy he brought to the role, and always always missed the first Daario, everytime, by the time he was left behind in Essos they had already ruined the rest of the show, but I was a bit pleased nonetheless

YES.
I just started the series (on ep3, so good) and the oldest brother, who Michiel plays, is oddly familiar and now I know why. 😆

I just know that the season started off with mentioning his character a hundred times was to let us know that, that is daario. It was so obvious. Anyways daario became completely obsolete after that season ended anyways so didn't make much difference

The second Dario was too much of a pretty boy. First one had that Conan the Barbarian chic going.

Michiel looked like he was cast as Carrie's boyfriend in a Sex and the City reboot

The most important detail when it comes to Ed is that he is an awful actor

Michiel is the better actor, but Ed was better cast in that role.
To me it felt like they where playing two completly diffrent charcters, none of them looked the part, but Ed felt more like the book version of Daario, he brought more swagger.
