Fascism Dear Tyranny-Fighting Second Amendmenteers: If the President steals ten billion dollars from the treasury and puts it in his own personal slush fund, is that "tyrannical"?

They call that “individual freedom”

Tyranny is when the ultra rich are forced to contribute to society, or face consequences for sex crimes

Remember when Congress controlled the purse strings? Back when our Government followed the Constitution, rather than the whims of an Autocrat?

I guess we're tossing the Constitution out, now

Thanks, Trump voters!

Just replace "Trump" with your choice of "Obama" or "Biden" and you'll get appropriate response. That said we all know Obama's biggest sin is that he wore a tan suit and Biden only helped to facilitate the fastest economic recovery in the world from the Covid Crash

BTW: did you see the other post where the gun nut explains to me that if you douse dry grass with an accelerant it becomes less flammable?

Gunnits would argue that oxygen is poisonous if they thought it made their point stronger

I'm not disagreeing with your point, but Oxygen Toxicity *is* a thing.

But yeah, your points stands :)

If Trump uses ANY of this money to pay off a student loan rather than for self dealing and enrichment he is going to be in REAL trouble.

It’s OK, the Supreme Court will rule on it 2 years from now.

It’s always $10b with this guy. Like he won’t get out of bed for $9.3b.

Ok so let me get this straight.... Israel annihilated all the inhabitants of Gaza. And the rest of the world is going to fund the reconstruction of a now desolate land in order for Israel to likely go back in and occupy it?

Israel annihilated all the inhabitants of Gaza... now desolate land

No.

There are over 2 million Palestinians still in Gaza. Around 100k got killed during the war. The land is not desolate at all.

Trump's plan involves removing all remaining 2 million Palestinians, sending them to other countries like Egypt, Jordan and Lebanon. After stealing all of the Palestinian's land, Trump plans to turn Gaza into a massive resort.

He intends to sell the land to developers who will in turn sell condo units. The intent is not to have Israelis exclusively move in, but rather to make it a place that wealthy people from all over the world own vacation homes.

and then rinse and repeat with the West Bank, except that area the terrorist Zionist settlers intend to grab for themselves, while they wait for the chance to steal bits of Syria as well.

Damn it.

Oh also read the fine print. Trump gets to stay on the Board of Peace for life. He is literally planning on building Maralago 2 on the bones of dead Palestinians

Thats not tyranny, that just greed (and possibly fraud) that the Dept of Justice would take an interest in if it wasn't their sole role nowadays to protect him from any consequences of all of his criminality (e.g. fraud, pedophilia, etc)

Where the hell is Congress on all of this? Doesn’t it hold the purse strings?

"Nobody knows more about slush funds than me. And it was mere coincidence that a Saudi Prince bought $500 Million in my crypto fund/bank/scam and soon thereafter I released our state of the art chips to them."

They don't know what tyranny looks like anymore. It's taxation without representation.

It's kind of like if Congress has the power to levy new taxes like tariffs, but the President just goes out and does it anyway.

lt's kind of like the President using his office to single out ethnic parts of society with racist remarks, then send out federal troops to harass, murder, and arrest them without warrants.

This does not Make America Great. It makes America Worse.

Don't wait until he throws everyone else into concentration camps. When they're gone, there won't be anyone left to stop them from taking you.

To be honest, it's rich against poor and slways has been. The rich don't need us. They don't want us. If they could live their dreams without us, they'd round us up and get rid of us.
