This thread is dedicated to questions that you've never really felt the need to start a thread for, but would still like to see answered/discussed.
Resources:
Please also consider sorting the comments in this thread by "new" so that the newest comments are at the top, since those are most likely to still need answers.

Anything not shown in an official trailer, screenshot, or blog, is considered a spoiler.
New spoiler rule is a temporary ban for posting spoilers titles.
Temp ban will be 24 hours for posting any spoiler in the title. A second infraction will result in 28 day ban.
Spoiler tagged threads are free to have spoilers about the thread topic. If you make a mistake simply edit your post or use spoiler tags. Spoiler comments in non-spoiler threads or in a spoiler thread about something else that are not tagged will also result in the temp 24 hour ban and 28 day ban for second infractions.
If you're unsure if something is a spoiler or not then just go ahead and tag it as. Better to be safe for everyone.
If you're on new reddit there is a spoiler tag option right in the editor, mobile apps have the option as well I believe but if you're on old reddit or want to type it manually then you can type:
>!Spoiler Goes Here!<
Spoiler Goes Here
It's very simple to tag your spoilers so please do it and if you do see a spoiler that was not tagged please report it ASAP so it can be dealt with by automod or mod team.
The last expansions and updates have gone amazingly smooth spoiler wise and I thank you all for that. Let's keep up the good work hiding spoilers!
Expansion bugs should be posted here but if there is anything game breaking or major feel free to make a dedicated post of it so the community and ANet might see it easier and of course make sure to report it to ANet using the built in bug reporting tools and/or the official forums.

The Mad King graces our fair Tyria again so it's time to induct the newbies into the time-honored tradition of farming the Labyrinth!
An Intro: Lab Farms are big groups running laps around Mad King's Labyrinth tagging mobs and opening doors for sweet sweet Trick-or-Treat Bags. Many sell them unopened on the TP for folks looking to gamba for the many many possible lesser jackpots. To this fact, here's a few things to keep in mind for joining your own!
This is NOT a place to max out your dps: Trains can get VERY large, and there's only so many hits a mob can take before it dies. Most Lab builds use Minstrel Gear for the explicit purpose of sharing the loot to all in the group. So DON'T melt the baddies, poke them with a million others until they are poked to death!
Following from the above, you also want to prioritize tagging enemies over focusing any single mob down. There's a million and a half guides for every profession online, but you'll generally want to avoid melee builds as they tend to have lower enemy uptime than ranged.
If there's a comm on your map running a farm, check their Squad Message or LFG post to verify the kind they're running. Some run All Doors, including the boss doors. Some run only Greens and Steve. Regardless, if there's a comm on your map, please don't open doors they're running! It just makes the whole experience less for everyone included. If you don't want to run with a comm, there's generally going to be an open map that you should be able to find relatively easily.
Comms, post your Farming Style in the squad message so folk can see it when they mouse over your tag! It just makes it easier for all involved, but MOST Comms running lab are super chill anyway, so there's not a lot to post about!
And that's all I can recall off the top of my head! If y'all can think of anything else please comment!

Did you guys know that if you put a custom parrot skin on the mail courier, the animation still works even underwater, and there are even little air bubbles trailing behind the bird? That’s a totally optional level of detail, but honestly, that’s exactly the kind of thing I love this game for.

congrats to Dailyguessrs [WRDL] for the kill.
but anet, really ? race to world's first, with a signup page, just for it to be over in less than half an hour ?
people took time off work for this lol.
how did they fumble the balance so bad.

A race that was expected to last for days ended up only running for minutes. Dailyguessrs [WRDL] brought two weeks of practice into fruition and defeated the Legendary Vloxx in no less than 23 minutes! An incredible feat from a group of very talented NA gamers.
Close on [WRDL]s heels were Snow Crows [SC] (no arcdps so no log), killing after 37 minutes and bringing EU on the board. Never Trust a Kill [INT] secured the third spot for NA with a kill after 54 minutes. Catastrophic Raid Shenanigans [CRS] weren't far behind [INT], killing after 1h and 7 minutes and landing on 4th place.
For quite some time there was nothing changing on the board, until Choccie Stack [WaWa] dropped a kill log after 3h 15min, claiming the 5th spot just 24 minutes before Rise [Rise] killed. A Fungus Among Us [Us] brought Vloxx down after 4h 1min, rounding out the top 7 for the stream coverage.
At the moment of this post there's still teams in the race competing, and we're seeing statics and PUG groups on Void Lounge making big progress. Join in and claim your Legendary Conqueror of Vloxx title through Void Lounge discord!
The race was cast by Amaverra in collaboration with Void Lounge.
Disclaimer: While there's a lot of disappointment in the end-game community regarding the state of the Nexus of Eternity Legendary Challenge Mode, the achievement of these teams are not to be diminished. The teams have worked hard, proved themselves against a legendary foe and are to be celebrated.
Thanks!

Hi,
Before today's patch, this fractal was already quite unpopular. 80-90% of "cm+t4" groups were rather "cm-94 +t4" in EU. It was beyond the usual "didn't learn it yet" that usually happens when a new CM is added.
Yet, in its pre-patch state, I was one of the few who were willing to run it as part of daily runs. I specifically looked for LFGs without "-94" in their description, even if I seriously hoped that it was going to be updated to be faster.
But that was with playing around what you could call oversights maybe even exploits : edge of the arena at 70% and 40%, troubadour skip for the instant-kill mechanic in the same phases, and ritualists killing Stewarts.
What happened today ? One of these important skips was nerfed : you cannot stand at the edge and wait for the blast anymore. You have to do the 70/40% mechanic that's a quite obvious raid mechanic (OK for a raid, no place in 5-man fractals). Encounter designers tried to make up for it by lowering the health of Elementals as well as the damage they deal when they reach the center. Well, that wasn't it.
I beat the fractal tonight after a few tries. The sentiment in the party was unanimous : we wanted to see how it was post-patch, and now none of us wants to run it ever again. The few % of the fractal CM community playing 94 is probably gone for the most part !
This fractal, despite being placed at 94 (in the logical continuation of the new directive : "we understood that you don't wants fractals – even CMs – to be raids), does really feel like a raid turned into a fractal.
IMHO, it requires heavy work. Until this is done, a good emergency measure would be to simply undo this today's change : "Increased the radius size of the elementals' explosions so they affect the entire platform during the Lonely Tyrant encounter. " (in the first bugfix patch that'll probably come in the next hours or tomorrow) so that players can go back and enjoy it a little until the fractal is reworked in more depths.
Here are a few suggestions for future rework :

For context, I started playing like two or three months ago. I have multiple characters in level 80 with exotic gear, all mounts unlocked, etc. I also own all expansions. I mostly care about open world PvE, at least so far, didn't really try other game modes.
Is there any "can't miss" stuff I should be doing or farming for the best rewards or gold while the festival is up? Like, for example, the daily three keys for the chest in Lion's Arch.
I'm kinda overwhelmed by it all.
Thanks a lot!

I'm trying to build up some Tales of Dungeon diving to buy the exotic amrours but getting a group for them is quite hard. Almost no one seems to be playing them.
Is there a better way to earn these armour sets?

As stated in the title, when i logged in after updating the game, Living world season 2 was unlocked, even though i did not buy it. Is there some kind of promotion i missed?
