Are there any newer model Class B vans with pop out sides to expand sleeping?
We rented a 20’ Camper van with twin beds and king size bed option, with wet bathroom and storage that spanned the width of the van, which we liked, in the back. After a long day of hiking it was a pain to make up the king bed but the walkway between the twin beds was very narrow. I want a van narrow enough and short enough for most standard parking spaces and park roads length restrictions. Are there any Class B sized vans that have pop out sides vs. pop up for sleeping

Noovo has a tall Class B van that the bed comes down from the ceiling , just put it back up during the day. No remaking required. The Vankaskeys you tube channel just took one to Alaska for the summer, if you want to see what it functions like. They aren’t cheap vans though

We have one of those, a Noovo Plus. The interior room is extraordinary. Since it's a Super High Roof RAM chassis, it's seven feet inside (not a typo). In the rear, the bed is raised to the ceiling and there is still a lot of room to sit around the gorgeous table that hides underneath the bed. It fits our needs perfectly (and the quality is great), but it is indeed not cheap. Check out my blog on the van etc at Noovango.com

Ya, we looked for a year and a half, all kinds of dealers, shows from California to Arizona to Hershey, and watched one million YouTube videos. Looked at vans, “B+,” small C’s, trailers, truck campers, everything. We could be RV salespeople at this point. Came down to an “off-road” sprinter, like a Rebel or GH1, but I eventually found the abysmal quality dispiriting. Then we discovered Noovo. No van will be perfect, all are sets of compromises, the only question is which compromises. :)

Wingamm makes one too, but it's much larger inside than the Noovo. r/WingammCampers

I don’t think anyone makes a class B with a slide out.

Leisure Travel did called an SS for single slide. Not sure if they still make them but could find one used. We sold our last spring.

I own a leisure travel van with a Murphy bed. Not sure it this is a b, b+, or c. It’s served us well but am looking for other things for my next rv.

I think what you’re looking for is pretty uncommon in a true Class B. Most camper vans don’t have side slide-outs, probably because of the added complexity and limited space. You might want to look at vans with a powered drop-down bed or a Murphy bed so you don’t have to make up the bed every night. The Noovo Plus is one option worth checking out if your budget allows. I’d also look at small Class B+ models, but keep an eye on the overall length if parking restrictions are important to you.

There are Class Bs with vertical pop outs, ie poptops. Sportsmobile eg.
And there are Class Cs.
Or a truck camper with a slide out.
Or a Tardis :)
It's all about what compromises you'll make. The slides block interior space, and most people with vans like to be able to get into the back without popping a slide.

Interesting post as so many of us are trying to get away from the many hassles of faulty slide outs.

We have a class B with three people in the King Bed. We use sleeping bags. Lightweight for summer and heavier for winter (or down ski blankets added to the lightweight sleeping bags). Pretty much takes minutes to grab the sleeping bags and pillows from the cupboard above the back doors. Easy to put away and set up the table. Our Labrador sleeps in a princess sofa bed my daughter used as a toddler. It is stored in the bathroom when traveling. Our bath is on the side. I would not want to crawl over the bed to access the bathroom.
We have traveled, all four of us for a month at a time going all over to hike the National Parks. We like to be able to park and go. We have system and it works.

We all want RVs that are tiny on the outside and gigantic inside. I believe what you are looking for is known as a class C.
