Anybody else expect the new GITS show to take their #1 favorite spot, but was a little let down? I personally thought the new show's animation was AMAZING, and a lot of the humor and action was great, too. I know it's more accurate to the source material...but SAC is still my favorite interpretation of these characters, the world, and especially Motoko. I can't help but think I may be biased, as a '90s/2000s kid, growing up with Toonami, "Justice League," the original "Fullmetal Alchemist," etc. But 2000s GITS just speaks to me in a way the rest don't.

These are the figures which had to move back into my office (again). The only choices were the basement or my working place.

The ones I was able to keep at home are my two HD Alpha statues which I would never move if it’s no emergency and a few others statues.

Some of them are not opened yet but I think it’s already very crowded.

Lucy also had to move so Motoko has some company.

Have a great week ✌️

Would it be crazy to print any moment from that scene, frame it and hang that in a living room?

Yes or no.

I need people to shoot down my ideas.

Got a GitS 1995 tattoo for my birthday over the weekend. She's so CLEAN. Couldn’t be happier on how it turned out

Just received word from GoodSmile that my order is still on track to be delivered between.... April to June of .... 2027 😭😭🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️. I know I kid but man... That's a long time to wait 🤣🤣😭😭

Honestly the experience was nothing too special but still cool to see (the Akira bike was the highlight) and the merch was so overpriced. I wanted to get a tee shirt but it was 93 dollars lol. So I settled for this awesome poster for 25 bucks and a keychain also for 25 bucks. Unfortunately the only poster frame I have is a bit too big but it'll have to do for now. Even so it was really cool seeing any GitS representation out in the public.

Definitely adding more down the line. Have a giant resin tachikoma I’m painting that will be added to my setup.

I've been meaning to watch ghost in the shell for the first time for a while now and want to know do I need to watch previous anime/movie to understand the new 2026 version or can I just start with the newest version?

Is Borma a virgin?

I was watching a new anime and thought, "Why not?"

Guys. I have this figure for a long time. I think it is a toy from GITS. However, I know nothing about it other than that. Can you help me identify it. What is the name of the Mecha, which show or movie is it from. And ideally the manufacturer of the toy. I plan to sell it. Thanks in advance.

I am very new to the series and I’m working on a little fan art inspired by the 2026 anime. This is still just a sketch but I want to add some animation to the screen in the background. What sort of things can I display on the monitor to stay true to the series while giving that retro anime/cyberpunk feel that the series is known for?

Auto-translate may label this “Stand Alone Complex.” The official title is 攻殻機動隊 THE GHOST IN THE SHELL.

Wento to Tower Record Shiboya and got the 7 new releases of GitS OST they had, the SAC vinyl editions, the Innocence one and the new 2026 TV OST, now I'm only missing the Arise releases (and games)
