My coins is almost at the limit, and I don't know what deck to build so that I can spend my coins for cards.
I'm not a pvp player, so I'm fine with something that can win on character invites and tavern challenges (It doesn't have to be op)
Preferably the character cards are from the one I can invite using letter, and the action cards are all purchasable from shop with no prerequisites (like I need to complete a world quest first or something)
Strategy: this deck is all about setting up both Bina talent and Yaoyao talent R1. This gives you 4 damage, 1 shielding and 1 healing for End Phase R1, and then 5 more damage, 1 shielding and 2 healing for End Phase R2. If you can survive the end of R2 in at least a middle-of-the-road spot, you can generate enough of a swing from the End Phase to start winning from R3.
Ideal opener: Bina talent -> Swap to Yaoyao -> Yaoyao talent -> Maiden's artefact equip on Yaoyao (or another 1 cost that helps stall). Choose hydro transfig, for more stalling.
The list runs Stormterror's to help fish on R1 for both talents, but ideally you mulligan for one and then use arcane card to search the other. Stormterror's can fix a miss, and repays its cost later by discounting Yaoyao burst or Nahida's 5-cost skill.
Ideal R2: Play Hydro transfig. You want to swap to Nahida (or Mirror Maiden) and then depending on game state you can go for ramp, stalling or a skill (3-cost or 5-cost as needed). The aim is to trigger hydro transfig and keep Bina and Yaoyao alive for another round so you can repeat their skills on R3/R4, and start gaining value from hydro transfig, lunar bloom cost discount and stall cards.
Ideal R3+: keep Bina+Yaoyao skills going, continue incrementally ramping whilst using lunar bloom discounts to mitigate damage and proc hydro transfig's +2 healing, and snipe low opponents.
I included a variant with Mirror Maiden instead of Nahida - I found this less strong overall but more consistent as you can use tuning and hydro woven to guarantee hydro transfig on R2. In the Mirror Maiden variant list, Stormterror's is less valuable and is replaced with Witch's Homework.
Matchups I found easy to stall: most overload, lunar-charge, most R1/2 otk (flins, sayu, razor etc), venti/tulpa, lyney/escoffier, arlecchino, skirk/chasca, crab, whale
Fifty-fifty matchups: consecrated beasts, yumkasaurus, lord of eroded primal flame
Tricky matchups: Nefer, True stall/freeze, Gaming, Ifa/Heizou (unless they unwisely end turn on Ifa and get chunked), and any opponent that steals or banishes your talent cards before you have the chance to play them
Before you nitpick, YES. I misplayed 2x, so the title is KINDA bait - but c'mon, it still technically applies. I'll point it out myself:
I played my first Ineffa card instead of playing the Resonance into 2nd NZ Adventure leading to +1 instead of +2 dice. Had I done that, I could've used the Lumenstone to draw 1 more and still do the entire set up.
I smacked the flins with a 2nd NA instead of his E-Skill to kill him, leading to me using 3 attacks to kill Ineffa rather than just 2 NAs. Had I done that instead, Columbina would've been dead.
Lunar Charge might be my fav among the TCG Lunar meta, it's really satisfying applying shock to the opponents' deck, and seeing Flins slowly leeches off HP π But it's also really annoying when I have to play against it.
Excited for TCG Stellar meta to crush Lunar in a year from now on.
Hi, I really love TCG, ingame and irl. I just got my first ever Binder and I am really excited about it!:3
I saw people online make the first page of their Binder dedicated to an Artwork and I would like to do that as well.
I would like to commision an Artist to draw my Genshin OC in the Genius InvocationTCG Artstyle (non profit, personal use only) to decorate my Binder with it! But I never commisioned an Artist I haven't followed for years before. I did some research for possible Artists to commision, but I was only able to find 2 so far. Does anyone have Experience and could recommend me an Artist? :3
While this deck holds the advantage against almost all "Moon" archetype decks, "Overload" decks are a tough matchup.
I rebuilt this deck after suffering a frustrating loss to an ARK "Leather" deck while using my previous "Millennium Pearl" build.
The playstyle involves drawing cards, increasing your dice count, equipping weapons, and attacking.
Simple, right?
This is one for the TCG devs, really. But every time new busted cards get released, my interest in TCG wanes. Do I really need to copy someone's deck with the new cards, or lose? Maybe I should just work on some of the main game quests for a bit, until the nerfs are released...
Then next week I'll cave, build the most OP Columbina deck I can imagine, and shamelessly stomp anyone who hasn't done the same. I'll love it, and my TCG interest returns.
Then finally the cards get nerfed, and we're allowed a few weeks of healthy, varied gameplay, and people can happily run the characters they like to play.
cryo : now applies end phase piercing DMG if target has dendro aura instead of just cryo aura
dendro : effect added instead of remove dendro aura for this effect, remove cryo aura to deal 2 dendro DMG then trigger 1 draw and heal for 1 HP to character with higher HP difference between current and max HP
I want to jump off a bridge because I just played against a triple consecrated beast deck with double fortress of meropide and when you invalide BONECRUNCHER blocks it triggers all the passives but NOT THE LIMIT! This despicable opponent played 6 bonecrunchers A ROUND against me. I had no chance
I am a returning player, leaving after sumeru. Before I left, I never touched co-op version of TCG, so I don't have any experience on what was the meta.
And now, I am so discouraged to play TCG genshin anymore with these lunar decks. All of my decks were useless. Any general tips to play coop in genshin TCG?
I saw several posts said that every patch "always" make an OP character, which make earlier character is not "competitive" enough.
Ps: I really hate playing mainstream/meta deck. So if I cant compete with antimainstream deck, I would rather leave genshin TCG entirely insteadπ
I was dumfounded when this happened to me so I had to watch the replay and share it, this combo does 12 damage and you only need one card to pull off.. what's the counter?
I don't take any other characters that can use these drops so my clueless dudes just hand them to each other til the end of the game. this got me thinking about Cyno's electric paws...
