I've been diffing every official Antigravity build. The desktop app 2.23.0 (released Oct 12) contains four new model IDs: gemini-4-argon, -low, -medium, -high. It also contains the display labels "Gemini 4 Argon (Low)", "(Medium)" and "(High)", the same format as the models you can already pick. 2.22.0 had none of these.

It's not selectable yet. The server doesn't offer it to my account, and the CLI (agy 1.3.3) doesn't list it.

What did change overnight: Gemini 3.1 Pro, 3.6 Flash and 3.7 Flash were tagged "Leaving Soon" on Oct 12 and are now gone from both the CLI and the app's model picker. The only Gemini left in Antigravity is 3.8 Flash. So right now there's no Pro-class Gemini in Antigravity at all, and the Argon labels already shipped in the client.

For comparison, gemini-3.1-ultra (spotted in CLI 1.3.1 last week) still has no variants and no picker label, so it looks like a reserved name rather than something about to launch.

You can check it yourself: grep the language_server binary in 2.22.0 vs 2.23.0 for "gemini-4-argon".

Thank you, Gemini 3.1 Pro. You wrote 90% of the spaghetti code, helped me build a SaaS that literally zero people use, entertained all my terrible ideas, and never once judged me when I was the only visitor on my own website.

Okay the first benchmarks of Muse Wonder are looking interesting. The billions Zuckerberg invested were worth it. How good it is in the real world uses remains to be seen.

Really hoping this means Gemini 4 Argon is finally dropping.

The sheer frequency, inanity and redundancy of all these low effort posts bashing Gemini is truly something to behold. So much concern and so little substance, and they are always at the top of my feed. Not that they don’t have reason to complain - Gemini really sucks lately. But every time I open Reddit, there is some lame post at the top with 0-3 upvotes and a handful of comments that basically say the same thing as the last 30 posts.

It’s just so different than any other AI sub. Is it part of a bot conspiracy? Is Google really pissing of the casuals so much that and army of them are saying the same nonsense over and over? Maybe the answer isn’t knowable, but the whole situation is fascinating from a distance.

Or am I just drunk?

I hope I can buy a good graphics card so I can free myself from these AI platforms. I spend so much time crafting prompts, but the next day they change their policy and nothing works anymore. Honestly, investing time in all these platforms that come up with a new policy and a new approach every day is a complete waste of time.

Antigravity Update officially mentions Gemini 4 Argon (Low, Medium, High).

I'm a Gemini Ultra subscriber and until yesterday I was able to use Gemini Pro 3.1. But suddenly it disappeared from my list in Antigravity. Anyone has the same? In the browser version on gemini.google.com Pro is still there

Is it only me or everyone else is not able to see the models in the antigravity IDE ?

They removed Gemini 3.7 Flash, Gemini 3.6 Flash, and Gemini 3.1 Pro too quickly (no specific date mentioned).

I wanted to use Gemini 3.7 Flash because I really liked that model compared to 3.8 Flash (too many tokens, not as fast as 300+ TPS, and not a significant improvement), and it was gone this afternoon.
