Links Awakening. It's a good intro if you've never played the original. Then Link to the Past. It came out next and is a great advancement. Then go either the two Oracle games or Minish. Minish is amazing. But I would then find it harder to go back to simpler GBC games.

A Link to the Past came out before Links Awakening and LA is a direct sequel

I think they were referring to the games in the pictures. Yes, ALTTP was released first if we talk about SNES. But on GB/GBA, Link's Awakening was released before ALTTP's GBA release.
I assume LA was suggested as first game so to play the "technically inferior" (forgive me) title first, and the more advanced one later. Since honestly, in terms of story, they're both mostly independent.

Yea, you're right. It did come out first. I don't know what I was thinking. But how is it a sequel? LA definitely seems like it is it's own thing. It ties to nothing.

At the time of release, Nintendo marketed Link's Awakening as the sequel to A Link to the Past. But it's not found mentioned in the game itself.
The manual leaves it a bit vague, in that it could technically be a sequel to either ALttP or the original Zelda:
Though you fulfilled the Hyrulian prophecy of the Legendary Hero and destroyed the evil tyrant Ganon, the land of Hyrule enjoyed only a precarious peace. "Who knows what threats may arise from Ganon's ashes?" the restless people murmured as they knitted their brows and shook their heads. Ever vigilant, you decided to journey away from Hyrule on a quest to withstand the next threat to your homeland.
But the official Nintendo Player's Guide is pretty explicit about it:
Link's Awakening tells the tale of the hero of A Link To The Past and how after his first great victory he set out on a mission of training, to hone his skills, sharpen his wits and master techniques of battle from around the world. Link sailed to foreign lands where he disciplined his mind and body. When he felt ready to return to Hyrule, he bought a small sailboat and headed across the Great Hyrulean Sea. The journey ended in a storm that crushed and sank Link's ship. Clinging to a piece of flotsam, our hero floated toward a mysterious tropical shore, unconscious and barely alive.

Just a heads up I got the same rom carts. Ages and seasons would not save for me. Minish Cap would be my vote.

Imo A Link to the Past is the perfect first Zelda game. It is everything great about the Zelda formula distilled into a lovely little bite sized package. It looks beautiful, it doesn't overstay its welcome, and the map it not so big that you get frustrated but it is filled with enough stuff that it doesn't feel small either. And almost every area that looks worth investigating has something there to reward you for exploring.
After that I'd do Link's Awakening and then Minish Cap. All 3 are some of the best Zelda games ever made. Then if you still have Zelda fever you can tackle the Oracle games. The only thing you need to know about them is that it is kinda important you play Oracle of Age before Seasons as that way you can get the "Biggoron Secret" which is imo very fun but a bit OP.

ALttP is not my favorite, but you have a point on this one and I may need to change some of my previous recommendations.
Link’s Awakening is an absolute gem and one of my favorites. The Oracle games are great too after that I think.

IMO ALTTP is the more classic Zelda story, so in a sense, it could be considered a paragon for the Zelda series, like a DNA upon which future Zelda games were designed on and evolved over time. While Link's Awakening and, especially, the Oracle games, are somewhat more experimental. Players can prefer any of course! I prefer them all for different reasons.

You gotta play Seasons then Oracle then Seasons then Oracle to get the full experience.

Link to the past, Links Awakening, Oracle games, Minish Cap.
If you play minish cap first the other will feel kind of old, assuming you haven’t played any of them before. Granted, all these games are pretty damn old now.

Oh, GB games on gba carts are a cool idea. Didn't know it was a thing.
As for what to play I'd say Links Awakening DX. It's one of the best Zelda's ever, regardless of platform imo and the first of the hand helds. Can't go wrong though whatever you choose really. All top games.
When you play Links Awakening keep in mind that it (well the non DX version anyway) only came out two years after the SNES A Link to the Past. It's good on its own merits but even more impressive when you remember the context of when it was released. The Oracles games are awesome too but it would have been really cool to see another GB/GBC Zelda game developed in house with Tetzuka and Miyamoto at the helm again.

Sort of.
The simplified version is that they're carts designed to boot into a GBC emulator that automatically loads the GBC rom. (I'm guessing they're using a version of goomba color, but I've never looked too closely.)
The advantage is that, since they're now GBA programs, you can run them on a Game Boy Micro as they don't actually make use of the Game Boy Color hardware that was found in other GBAs but missing on the Micro.
The disadvantage is that you can't run them on an actual GBC, even if you swap them into a GBC shell, and you can't use a link cable between them.
Additionally, on some third-party devices (e.g. Analogue Pocket) the screen resolution is pretty terrible — the black bars on the side of the GBC image are hardcoded into the video output in order to make it the correct dimensions for GBA, so it won't fill the full screen on devices designed with a GBC aspect ratio.

4 swords and minish cap i think are the only real ones, because they have the euro tag and Nintendo stamp. The DX, seasons, and ages are fake they were never re released for gba. I reccomend seasons and ages if they play well, then DX, then 4 swords, finish minish cap.

If OP has a bunch of fake games in plastic cases why would some of the other ones in similar plastic cases be real? They're all fake

You probably know this but just in case; these are all fake
Otherwise enjoy! They probably run fine! Id play links awakening as it is the oldest but still great.
