Galil ARM build question

Bought this parts kit years ago from Apex but never got around to getting a receiver for it to send off. Was going to go with a tortort since they were the must recommended. My question now is who is doing builds these days. Is hillbilly still accepting requests?

Hillbilly still does builds, idk if his books are open atm.

I believe CW gunwerks, NGS Idaho, & In Range inc (Troy Sellers, not the YouTuber) all build Galils somewhat frequently.

I had my R6 built by NGS Idaho. They seemed to do a good job, I haven’t shot it though. If I ever get my hands on an ARM kit, I’ll probably give CW a try.

Thank you! I'll give them a look. Also what seems to be the going rate for arm kits? If the process is difficult I may just let it go.

I honestly have no idea what people are selling them for on the private market. I never see them for sale.

But I know places like Apex have raised theirs up to like 700+

And last time I looked at gunbroker the few that were on there were like 900+, but I don’t think many people are actually buying those lol

There's no more available. THe bipod alone can go for $150. Parts kits for $899 is a deal if you ever want one since there will never be any more.

Iron Curtain Customs down in Houston, Texas can help you out, just shoot them a message (They have an Email and Phone Number) and they can help you out with any AK build you need. They also specialize in Galils.

Oh shi fr??? Damn didn't know there was a local shop that close. I'll have to give them a visit Friday or Monday.

They are appointment only just so you know, I have not had my rifle built by them (I have a JRA), but I know they are good from reviews.
