The aviary has insulation all the way round plastic wrap type of thing

Do the tail feathers have barring? 

This could be penguin + black cheek. The obvious thought would be that the cheek patch would be completely white (as penguin would remove the black) but sometimes residual markings are left behind from these sorts of combos. 

Like, for example, black cheek + orange breast have mottled black-orange cheek patches rather than just orange as you would expect.

The tear mark is throwing me though. Update when it is an adult!
