Anybody got IPv6 working on VSOL V2802GW?
I've been trying for days to get IPv6 up on Vsol fibre units and starting to believe that it is not in fact correctly implemented.
I note other posts here suggesting to avoid VSOL. granted.. probably good advice, but look, not my decision, OK. and it is what it is.
IPv4 config works fine, both "routed" and "bridged" are possible.
I have tried to configure a WAN IPV6 profile manually on the ONU or remotely on the OLT, either directly or via a Service Profile. Nothing works. There is a RouterOS box behind the OLT and this is providing upstream IPv6 perfectly fine to the non fibre network segment.
Anyway, even adding a static IPv6 address to the OLT, the ONU can't communicate with it.
Network traces from the OLT uplink are well, showing weird stuff going on. I guess this is not the place to post such things though, The VSOL website is BS and any specific documentation is all but non existent.
so this is just a shout out.. Anybody else actually get this junk to work?

I have, some issues but it does work, in my case i had to setup a tr069 server to make it work automatically but it may not be neccesary if you don't use the olt to provison the PRI Profile to the onu

Its taken me a while but I have had some success with the problems I was having.
What I have found is even though the OLT has configuration options, not all options are supported by every ONT client device. Eg. One of the ONTs I am trialing doesnt support dns relay in router mode, while another one does.
I havent tried ipv6 yet (we just do layer 2 circuits) but it does appear the V2802GW does support IPv6 from the data sheet. So I would expect it to work.
Your right - help is rather limited and the manual doesnt really tell you anything about what you want to know or doesnt go into enough detail about what setting fields actually do.
The main problem I am seeing is I cant reconfigure an ont that is powered down - all its config options disappear.
I dont think its junk - i think its just got a bad webgui interface that needs a lot of improvement.
Biggest problem really that they need to fix - no uPNP support in any of the ONTs
