It is TUESDAY somewhere in the world. Which means, get to posting your TUNESDAY TUESDAY tracks.
If you've posted on Tunesday Tuesday, your post meets the requirements and it has still been removed, our auto-mod may have made a mistake. Please send a message to the mods and we'll look into it!
Try and give feedback to someone elses post. Please think more about the community and about the purpose of sharing your music with other creators. We're all producing music here, the people in this community are not your customers, they are your peers.

We are now allowing youtube videos, as long as they follow the rule above, the video needs to be a screen capture of your FL Studio Playlist Window with your FULL TRACK visible. We are allowing Youtube now because of how terrible Reddit Video can potentially mess with your audio mix.

This is my 4th ever beat after wanting to learn how to make beats. Lmk if I have good potential. I donât know music theory but Iâm hoping I can learn it along the way. My first beat was decent but Iâm kinda liking this one more.

Beginner here. I tried making an europop type beat but the thing that frustrates me the most is that I keep using FLEX for everything. I don't know what half of the plugins are used for (I have All Plugins edition). And second is I always end up with 5-6 tracks then my imagination runs out of ideas to add more sound to the beat. But let me know your thoughts or suggestions here.
(Excuse the muffled sound I used Snipping Tool to record hah)

Made this beat, I'm not sure what to label it as. What artists do you think could get on a track like this? I'm not sure who I could send this out to.

So, Iâve been making increasingly difficult songs which means they consume more CPU. Now, I want to clarify that my PC is really bad and Iâm not complaining like ugh, FL uses too much CPU and always runs poorly- no, but I just wanted to ask for help on how to configure FL so it runs as well as possible so If you have any tips, leave a message below!!
Thanks, lol

So the WordBuilder works when I'm just playing on my computer keyboard, but the moment I use the piano roll it's just "ah-.... oh-...." it's really only the WordBuilder not working.
Any advice?
I've tried changing the tabs within Opus to "Multi" "Omni" and also make them into the same MIDI number

I posted this before on the wrong day so it got taken down, but the couple people that commented said it wasnât dubstep. I donât really make this kind of music, so idk what it is. But let me know what you think!

By âgoodâ I mean being able to make a song and easily understand why it sounds wrong. Like being able to identify âthereâs too much high endâ or âthe ratio on my compression is too lowâ.
Iâm pretty good when it comes to placing down notes for a melody or doing drum patterns but the mix is what messes me up sometimes. (I make metal music so I kind of knew this was gonna be hard.)
I donât know, I guess Iâm just wondering when it mixing clicked for you.

Proud to say all synths and basses were made from scratch too so let me know if they suck :)

Context for this song is you're fighting your best friend because he's been corrupted by a greater evil
Personally I think a lot of parts in this song may be too loud and you really can't hear the guitar a whole lot.

I'm building a home studio for mixing and recording vocals and want to get the best results possible doing the treatment myself. There's a lot of conflicting information online, especially about bass trap dimensions and air gaps, so I'd appreciate some advice on what would actually work best for my room.
The room is 10x10 ft with 7 ft 4 in ceilings. My desk faces the front wall, and my listening position is about 3 ft 10 in from that wall. I have a clothing rack with thick jackets on the back wall and a 1/2-inch felt rug pad with a 1/4-inch rug on the floor. I record vocals sitting at my desk with a Shure SM7dB.
I'm in an apartment, so I can't hang a ceiling cloud. One of the back corners has a door, so I can only use the other three corners. There's also 1-inch floor trim along the walls.
My current plan:
Reflection panels: Four 2x4 ft panels using 3 inches of Rockwool with a 3-inch air gap. One on each side wall and two on the front wall in front of my listening position. Iâve found the reflection points by sitting in my listening position and getting a friend to help me with the mirror trick. (Iâve already begun building these.)
Corner bass traps: Three flat, porous absorber traps, each 24 inches wide and 6 inches deep, running nearly floor to ceiling, with a 12-inch air gap behind them.
I've seen recommendations for 6-inch-thick bass traps with a 6-inch air gap, but because of the room geometry and floor trim, I'd have to make the panels much narrower to keep the gap at 6 inches. I've heard that wider panels can be more effective, so I'm trying to figure out whether a 12-inch gap makes more sense or if there's a better design altogether.
A few questions:
I'm trying to find the most effective setup for both vocal recording and mixing while keeping everything affordable and space-efficient. I'd appreciate any advice specific to my room. Thank you!
