I’m a relatively new gun owner(year deep)and was wondering with the new atf ruling what is allowed in Florida ik I can look up the gun laws on sbr or sbs but im worried about not understanding or sneaky loopholes so if anyone can just dumb down whats allowed or not

I noticed online gun stores are sell SBRs rifles. what about buying a rifle(under 16 inches) in Florida that is already a SBR, comes with a stock. Is this legal now in Florida to buy just using a 4473

update

I live in tallahassee. I use 2 LGS for FFL transfer. both are still using form 4 for manufactured SBR sent to them.

Someone said SBRs *without a stamp* are still illegal in FL. Is that right?

Does anyone know of FFLs in the east Orlando/space coast area doing 4473 cans now that the ATF said its cool? Im looking for a place with inventory since I want to get it today

Im a Miami-Dade native and in the military. I’m going on leave soon and wanted to buy my first personal firearm, but not sure exactly how to go about it.

If it helps, I’m for an M4/AR15 variant (I know, LARPing). I wanted a weapon I was already very familiar with.

Any tips, advice, things to look out for in research on how to buy one?

USAF Vet with General Under Honorable discharge will this allow me to bypass the class or does it strictly NEED to be honorable?

But posting in case anyone needs one big or small.

So I would like to go into firearms sales, and I've noticed the biggest financial investment is a business building and initial inventory. This made me think, could I sell guns exclusively through an online store, and when someone orders one, it comes to my house, I notify the buyer, they come to my house, fill out a 4473, and I give them the gun from there. This would make it to where I dont need a physical store (besides my house) and wouldn't have to buy initial inventory to fill said store

I’m getting into comp shooting near Sarasota and I’m wondering what’s required, do I need a ccl or any other licenses and do I need to get a open carry holster. Also, is this an expensive hobby. I’m not looking to upgrade anytime soon, I just want to get good with what I got

Any ranges from Orlando to South Miami host NVG or low light shooting classes or allow for private range rental to shoot with NVGs?

Any ranges or places in Orlando or around that does any night shoots or low light training I got me a PS14 with a DBAL and been trying to train with it but seems no one here has that going on, does it have to deal with county ordinances?

How would y’all rate the 43x as a competition pistol? It’s all I got lmao

I know they are technically not illegal, but in Florida with the wording on the bump stock bans, Id hate to get a FRT and then somehow find myself in court. Anyone have one, use one at the range etc? Any issues legally?

I’m looking for a range that allows me to shoot move and practice drawing from holster. I live in Orlando and I want to know some good places I can join.

Im wanting to start attending the monthly 3 gun matches at Hansen but trying to find details on them has been quite the challenge.

They arent on Practiscore which is fine, if anything id like to still attend as practice in-between Florida Multigun Matches at MGAC.

Has anyone here attended at Hansen?

What are the Entry Fees?

Estimates Round Count?

Long range rifle? Will i need to bring my 77gr?

General vibe?

Thank you and maybe see you out there!

It’s a damn shame that the state law was upheld in NRA v Glass. Florida needs to catch up with the rest of the country.
