XFCE / Community What games can I play on EndeavourOS XFCE?

Hi! I’m using EndeavourOS with XFCE.

Any good game recommendations that run well on Linux?

I’m open to any genre. Thanks!

Your DE has very little impact, if any, on the games you can run. My entire steam library is playable on Endeavour, and so is everything I've got on battle.net

Go wild.

A lot of games?... FOSS Games, Steam, Epic Games Store, GOG, Minecraft, Hytale, itch.io, etc

same as any other distro (check r/linux_gaming)

see https://www.protondb.com/ and https://areweanticheatyet.com/ for whether games work, fixes or launch instructions needed and proton version compatibility. If you have games in Epic/GOG libraries then you can add them to Steam using "Add a Non-Steam Game..." feature (Library : bottom left corner) or use Lutris/Heroic/Faugus launchers

Literally any game. Was just playing Space Marine 2 under XFCE4

I game on Endeavour XFCE, Doom, Eve online, Chorus, call of duty, never had an issue with anything except obv not going near anti cheat system shite

It's going to depend on what you play and your system.

Install Steam and see what happens. Your DE doesn't much matter.

I am legiitmately confused as how you're a top 1% commenter but this post is so poor. 

  • No idea your specs so no idea what you CAN play.
  • No idea what games you're referring to because it, because kernel level anti-cheat changes the question dramatically

This is also something that a literal simple free Gemini, Claude, GPT prompt could have answered.
