It's cool to see 2D games running. The bigger 3D PS5 games will be years off though. Even if they can get them working, no phone is going to be able to handle them for a long while.

yeah its a good start though but we can't say maybe lets give this 6 months or more we can run 3D... except if we get a hands on that new Snapdragon 8 gen 6 Extreme that beast will support Directx 12

Even then, the demanding 3D games will be a heavy push for them. The PS5's GPU (Basically an RX 6700 10GB) wipes the floor with any phone GPU. Even the fastest x86 iGPU (Radeon 8060S) is just behind the PS5 GPU wise, and that 8060S has alot more wattage/thermal headroom to work with than a Phone SoC. Hell, even things like the RTX 5060 are struggling with PS5 emulation, so no way in hell will an Adreno 850 handle it.

True specs wise it might not be on par with the ps5 specs but developer wise all these games are just programs made of codes, Developers will find a way to work things out or translate it..to lessen the usage, maybe the resolution or some framegen thing maybe but will see.
Can't deny I have this kind of conversation during the Nintendo Switch emulation era where they say "it's not possible", "can't be reversed engineered" but look where we are now...playing it on our phones, hell we play pc games too on our phones 😂

Even then, the Nintendo Switch was easily surpassed by a phone's performance by the early 2020s, after all, the Nintendo Switch 1's GPU is equivalent to a Geforce 830M, which is around Intel HD 620 performance, so the bar was low & was easy for phones to pass. Meanwhile things like the Snapdragon 8 Elite have only 40-45% of the performance of a PS5. Maybe later on down the road in the early 2030s we might see some PS5 games, but considering that things like the RTX 5060 are struggling with some PS5 games, it's going to be a while off & take quite a few generations.

Neptunia ReVerse with this. This would be a interesting thing, as this is right now the most playable ps5 exclusive on PS5, which KyTyPS5 on PC is already playable (despide the low fps issue) so i will keep looking around that on this progress.
