Hello everyone I hope you all are doing well, so basically I posted about reviewing the Roseselsa Ceramics Ultra quite a while back and now I am posting a review after using them properly for four months. To keep the review simple I am going to call the Roseselsa Ceramics Ultra Rose.
So here is my review of Rose -
Box content - The buds come with a type A to C cable and 3 sets of silicon eartips and one set of medium sized foam eartips.
Build quality - The build is pretty good considering the price, the hinge is solid and the case is really scratch resistant so you can easily carry them in your bag and pockets without worrying about scratches.
Sound quality - The Rose sounds really great for the price and can be compared to IEMs like Tanchjim Bunny. The default tuning of the Rose is pretty flat and boring, and also a little sharp to the ears without much body in the sound. But many people may like that but I listened to it on the pop more and the review is based on the pop mode specially. In the pop mode the bass gets a little body and the set sounds more lively and warm, comfortable to listen to while enjoying the music.
The bass isn't overdone it's just in the perfect amount giving you the fun thumps for kick drums and bass guitar. The vocals are really clear, female vocals sound pretty natural and good with just a little coloration in the pop mode. The male vocals also sound really good but they sometimes sound just a little thin, but that's not noticeable enough. The treble area isn't piercing and done in a soft way, it sounds airy but doesn't pierce your ears.
ANC, Transparency mode - The ANC is pretty decent in the Rose it's not top tier nor bad, the transparency mode is also decent. But it's nowhere near the Oneplus buds 4. It's more comparable to a more budget friendly set Realme Buds Air 7. But I do love the wind noise isolation mode and use the Rose with the wind noise isolation mode all the time.
Comparisons :-
OnePlus Buds 4 Vs Roseselsa Ceramics Ultra - I don't actually own the OnePlus buds 4 as I returned them after using them for a few days because the bass was too much for me so I borrowed my friend's OP Buds 4 for this comparison.
The OnePlus buds 4 has a much more bass heavy sound signature and even after using the EQ you can't turn that down much and if you turn it down all the way the buds sound really bad. But the OnePlus buds 4 is really enjoyable for people who love quality bass in their songs, the vocals are decently clear although the male vocals do blend with the bass giving it a much thicker appearance and female vocals sound a little more boomy compared to the Rose. Because of the bass the vocals can sound muddy in a lot of tracks. The treble on the OnePlus buds 4 is much more laid back and warm giving you a really comfortable listening for long hours of listening.
Overall if you value sound quality and want something that sounds closer to an IEM like the Tanchjim Bunny then the Rose is the best earbuds in the segment to purchase, but if you value ANC, Transparency mode, better microphone then the OnePlus buds 4 is the best TWS earbuds in the price.
The issues I faced with the Rose - So it's not always all cherry on top of the sugar right ? I faced some really annoying problems with the Rose, it wasn't connecting with the application after the first update I got then this issue got fixed with the second firmware update but the much bigger issue of connection drops was still there and it's still annoying me. Whenever I am listening to music it randomly drops connection that's just annoying. I hope this gets fixed with another update in the future. So yes the Rose isn't a completely polished product.
