Figure and Zipline Hardware Interviews
Hi everyone,
I have Electrical Engineering and Hardware Test interviews coming up at Figure AI and Zipline, respectively. Has anyone been through this process or a similar process that could shed light on their interview styles.

hardware test roles at robotics companies usually drill debug scenarios more than pure theory. expect "a board is doing X, walk me through finding the fault" style questions, so practice a structured approach out loud: power, clock, then signals. also brush up on scope and logic analyzer stories, and have 2-3 examples of tests you built or bugs you chased down

hardware test interviews are usually more about debugging methodology than trivia. they want to see how you approach a broken board or a failing signal chain so walk through your process out loud. brush up on i2c, spi, and uart too since they come up constantly. when i was prepping for mine i used easy code interview to review signals and systems concepts and it saved me. good luck!
