Hi everyone, I'm currently in 11th grade and interested in getting into the aviation field. I was thinking about studying ECE—could anyone offer some guidance?

If you want to study EE/ECE, go to your local university and enroll in a bachelor of science degree program.

There are well-known expensive private schools too, if you have lots of money, but I say a state school works just fine.

It will take 4 years, maybe longer if you get intern jobs and/or drop classes or screw around.

Aviation is a good industry, but you might find something you like better. You don't have to decide up front.
