I’m not here to solicit or sell this. I just pulled it and was wondering what you all think of him? I don’t know much about him except that I know he has draft buzz.

Coming to our first game at Wallace Wade this weekend. How early should we plan to arrive to get a parking spot in the Chemistry lot?

Hello, I am interested in combining engineering and business. I want to go into sales engineering or product management. I was wondering what people have heard about the IDEAS program at Duke and how difficult it is overall.

My buddies and I are coming up from FL State for the UNC game this weekend, we want to find the best spots to go out if there is any. Heard that there isn’t much going on.

Has anyone taken EGR 190 Special Topics in Engineering Business Leadership for Engineers? I couldn’t fit it into my schedule this semester and was wondering what people thought of the class.

Hi, I am a student learning piano for the first time as an adult. I'm enjoying it a lot and want to progress faster so looking for a piano teacher. Can pay at the current market rate.

If you are a music student, and already spending hours at Biddle, time to make a few extra bucks.

Thinking of 1 hour per week, can do more if really loving it. Want to build a good posture, tension, and technical foundation. I promise to practice almost daily :)

Old timer here:
Back in the old pre-pandemic days, one could go to the cafe in French Science Center and get a cranberry-orange muffin in fall. Cranberry season is like pumpkin spice season, but without the PR campaign.

Has anyone seen a cranberry-orange muffin on campus these days? Today I tried Beyu, Cafe, Panera, Perk, and Twinnies and struck out. Should I check pub-pol or the law school? Or the med center somewhere?

I’m jonesing hard. Feed an addict. Please!!

does anyone have advice for being successful in ece250? i'm finding the midterms hard to study for and didn't do super well on midterm 1. Sorin is intimidating if you're not a computer savant (imo). I wish i just took 210.

I know the homeworks are a big part of the class--how realistic is it to get a 98 in the homeworks overall?

any other advice on understanding the material? Thank you

i'm potentially interested in the content of this course, but i'm just not sure what it covers. is there a reason for me to take this as my one physics course instead of 152?

I was being a fat chud this sem and i have only 100 bucks left in my account. would anyone be generous to donate their food points? Or are there any ways i can get some more?

hii does anyone happen to have the previous midterm or final exams from math 111L for bullard? i'd like to use them to study / recognize the test formatting. thank you!

22 Jump Street claims it was filmed at Tulane and Loyola Universities. But I saw this shot from the movie for the Zapf C Helvetica Memorial Student Union (obviously not a real name), and it doesn’t look like either universities. It looks a lot like Duke University instead with the brick colors and gothic style. Does anyone know this building?

Hey everyone! I’m considering moving to Campus Walk near Erwin Rd and wanted to hear from anyone who currently lives there or has lived there before.

Would you recommend living there? How is the area in terms of safety, noise, maintenance, management, parking, and overall experience?

Anything I should look out for or know before signing a lease? I’m new to the Durham area, so I’d really appreciate any honest feedback

Looks clean, can this be anyone’s cat escaped from home?

I’ve heard a couple of different things but wanted to see if anyone on here has taken chem 101 with Martinez to confirm. I’ve heard that everyone’s grades get curved at the end of the course to make the average an A- and wanted to know if this was true. Is there a curve? If so, how generous?

Thank you for any insight!

I have an idea for an organization that will be very beneficial for both students and staff. However, before I design and implement it I want to be sure that there is interest among faculty and staff. Would it be a good idea to just email random staff? Or maybe just go into random offices and ask? What should I do? I know this idea has great potential.

I see these groups with long white skirts and stuff going to these events and girls on insta with leopard prints last night like what is this and why am I unaware of this? I’ve been here for 6 weeks and have not found a group of friends . things are extremely lonely here at Duke. the few ppl that I know I text them what are your plans this weekend and no one even replies to me and then they post on social media. I rushed a club and didn’t get selected. I feel so isolated and do not know what I am doing wrong.

Hi guys, I'm trying to apply for work-study opportunities on JobX but I was told by the person I was going to use for references that they didn't receive any emails for submitting references. Does anyone know how that works? Like do employers request references after reviewing your application, or are reference providers supposed to just email the references to the employer, or is my JobX just malfunctioning and my reference provider should be able to receive an email? This would help alot if someone else has applied for work-study through JobX before.

Thanks!

It’s not just cornell.. I went through Duke’s title ix process and it failed me and didn’t do anything to protect me. 0 accountability or consequences for a professor who still works here. Wondering if anyone else had a similar experience with Duke title IX process, how you felt it went. Feel free to DM if you wish to remain anonymous, just curious how other’s experiences went with Duke title ix
