I was watching Modern SpongeBob, and this episode from Season 12, “Stormy Weather“ caught my eye, because it features him befriending a big white creature.

And, as we all know, Wooldoor is supposed to be SpongeBob.

I can’t help but think this is intentional, since Tom Kenny knows what Drawn Together is, though I could just be going crazy. 🤷‍♂️

Seriously, I don't dislike Drawn Together. I just had one of those moments where I suddenly remembered the show after completely forgetting about it for years, and that was enough to make me want to post about it.

It's kind of fascinating how obscure it has become. The show used to have people uploading clips, making posts, running accounts, and discussing it online, but so many of those accounts are either gone, inactive, or have been abandoned for years. It's not unique to Drawn Together either. A lot of older fandoms eventually end up in this weird state where the community is technically still there, but barely anyone is talking anymore.

I'm not saying it needs to be popular or that everyone should recognize it. That's not really my point. It's more that Drawn Together feels like one of those shows that has almost completely vanished from casual internet conversation.

So yeah, this isn't coming from some massive fan. I literally just remembered the show and wondered what happened to its presence online. Looking back at it now, there's something pretty nostalgic, and honestly kinda depressing, about seeing how much it has faded.

Idk if this has been discussed before but i’ve heard that a lot of people season 3 is the worst by far but im not sure why.. i actually really liked it myself.

Is it meant to look like she's wearing a donkey mask?
In the clip this comes from, you can hear eating sounds, so that'd imply she's being fed something while asleep, but I can't connect that back to anything I know of.

This is actually some of the only Drawn Together merch to ever come out officially, making them not only unique, but incredibly rare!

The quality of these definitely varies, but it’s still all-in-all a very fancy set.
