If you have no idea what this is about, please go see Doug's latest video "Thanks for 7 Years of DougDoug"!
We wanted to take some time to address the news that was uploaded today by Double Douglas himself, as there's undeniably going to be a few questions about what this means going forward.
We recommend watching Doug's video for the full context and explanation for these changes in his words.
Doug announced that his current format for the DougDoug channel, to a very minimum, will be retired. This means the usual format for a DougDoug main channel video will no longer exist, if videos become uploaded at all -- this hasn't been confirmed.
Streams will still be happening (follow the man here if you haven't already!, and uploads will still be made to the second and VOD channels, but at an unpredictable pace. To quote Doug;
"I'm still gonna stream on Twitch, and that might seem weird, but the change is gonna be instead of trying to do two streams a week, or having the streams be in a certain type of format, I'm gonna stream... really, whenever I feel like it, and what I feel like. ...There might be a week where I show up and I'm like, 'I'm gonna do some Silksong challenge, all week long!' 'I'm gonna do a programming challenge, all week long!' Maybe I stream, yknow, 10 days in a row... and then there's probably gonna be a month where I just don't stream."
Doug also follows up via a comment on the Rosa streams;
"...currently, my plan is to not do a Rosa celebration this year. But that being said I absolutely want to keep supporting the Monterey Bay Aquarium and doing some kind of charity content, but I need to find a way to do it that feels more sustainable for where I am right now. So the MBA charity for 2026 is currently to-be-decided, it won’t be like the Rosa birthday streams but I would ideally like to do something, just in a very different format, and I'll just see how that develops over the next few months"
Currently, nothing! We'll still be housing all your clips and memes and in-jokes and "r/wehatedougdoug will hear about this" comments as per usual, and will be operating as normal as there's been no changing impacting us! We understand it will be a difficult time for some, though, so we'd like to take the time to push the Discord for all your chatting needs.
If any change goes forward, you can expect another announcement here when we know and what it means, but for now we have no plans of changes to our operations.
Not to intentionally echo that of my fellow mod CraftedRobot, but I do also want to say on behalf of the moderation team thank you! This community has been an amazing fucking community since day one let alone year seven, and I can say without a shadow of a doubt I myself would not be where I am to this day without you all.
We have no doubt in our minds that the community and Doug's streams will continue to be as amazing as ever in the coming chapter, and we're all excited to see you there! If you have any questions or concerns, you can find ways to reach us in the Discord or send us a modmail! Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!

To clear up any potential confusion and to reduce future problems here are the official guidelines from Doug and Berry regarding fanmade content.

im not a coder by any stretch of the imagination but I want to potentially utilize code in my own streams every so often similarly to doug or failboat (but not the exact same stuff so not things like code from his website). i have no idea where to start or how to get chat messages/commands to do things on stream, in obs, etc. so if anyone has any pointers that would be amazing. im willing to learn some basic coding if necessary and im sorry if this is a silly question 😭

DougDoug Haters, The DougDoug Files, DougDoug Sleep, and definitely others that I missed are to name a few. Is this because of Doug’s main channel retirement? Did he change a rule / make a statement when it comes to fanmade content on YouTube?

If so can he make the jugjug? I know the mugmug is real and already works but the jugjug could just be a large mugmug

There's a clip of Parkzer laughing his ass off because of a family game show (I think family feud) because the host asks the contestant to say a three letter animal and the contestant says alligator
I can't find it

Okay so here me out. I was listening to Doug/Parkzer talking on stream about the centaur pants options and I have some logic to suggest. (note i am British so when i say trousers think "pants" for Americans)
I think Parkzer was partly correct in that you cannot really assign human concepts like "pants" 1-for-1 onto something like a centaur that is inherently not human.
With this in mind, I want to instead start by focusing on the purpose of trousers/shorts which i think includes 2 functions:
They provide an extra layer to cover genitalia - if you're not convinced, think of it this way - in the hot days of summer (and not at the beach), do you go outside wearing just underwear, no, you don't because it's inappropriate, therefore trousers/shorts provide a function here.
They provide warmth to limbs/other body areas around the privates - I'm not being too specific here, because I'm thinking about many possible areas we use trousers to help warm, including privates, thighs, calf and potentially (if you wear high waisted trousers) even the lower chest/stomach area.
I also take function of shorts to be that they follow the above description, but with more exposed for better thermal regulation.
I also take one assumption for the Centaur anatomy - that the privates including butt and appendage of the centaur is at the rear of the centaur, like a horse.
With this setup in mind here is my take:
4 is trousers - it covers a large area of limbs/body parts around a horse, includes the privates and areas reasonably nearby
2 is a style/cut of shorts - it leaves more of the limbs/body exposed for better thermal regulation, while still meeting purposes of shorts above.
As a small note though, I considered the idea of possible other similar options not shown on image for leaving more exposed, such as imagine 4 but with shorter legs to leave lower leg exposed for example, this is why I say 2 could be a "cut" of shorts - just like with human shorts (think short shorts for example) there are multiple options for how you could design a garment that is more exposed than 4, while fulfilling requirements - different short styles.
And as noted, it's kind of trying to use human words to define something not for humans anymore at which point different styles or cuts of garments that fulfill the definition above might have different names in the centaur world - for example, maybe 2 could be called "Chorts" (centaur shorts) and 4 could be called Quadripants - but this is now entering fiction/fantasy territory.
Thank you for reading my ADHD inspired thoughts on centaur pants!

Seems like something he would have brought up at some point

Got the game after his stream. Went to admire my ranking after what I thought was a good run, and I suddenly feel much worse about my performance.

Maybe a hot take but I've been watching Doug for maybe 3 years, and the changes that he made to move away from his scripted content weren't bad, and I respect it... but since then the videos that are posted to the other Dougdoug channels aren't something I wanna watch anymore.
Even the DougDougDoug ones are kinda the same. Like the making TTS of chat (not even playing the game) and the peggles and miscellaneous stuff from streams. I even watched that "If Doug says Um the video ends".
Keep in mind that I'm a full YT watcher. I don't watch his streams and idk if he's said more about what he's doing for the channels past the goodbye he made about "DougDoug".
Idk I just miss the ideas that were a part of the main DougDoug channel. I got into him because of the Mario slide video and , I watched him taking a bath in RDR, when he said cheese to spawn cheese, and I even watched his cross the road as a chicken. Just kinda miss those ideas.
I thought the DougDougDoug channel being run by the editors would show EVEN MORE funny....But I'm just kinda pushed away now. I know he can't be all energetic all the time, but I wish like 1 video a month could have a over the top idea. You know?
