Oh my goodness, I'd rather spend time at a government department than getting through the steps to use this app.

1. Asks to create a new password, ok fine. Generate a complex one from my password manager. Paste it and it even says the strength is Great. Try to submit and it says password is not secure, try again.

2. Get to the gender (why???) and gives me an option Prefer not to say. Choose that and it rejects it saying the field is required.

3. Asks me to validate against my email. Ok, gets the code from my email and copy it. Oops, paste is disable just for THIS specific screen. All previous code pages supported pasting.

4. Try to log in to my TV. Scan the QR and it makes me log in all over again on my phone, even requiring email validation code once again.

5. Get through it and now it says login fail because the codes dont match (they do). So have to restart the TV sign in and now it works.

6. See my profiles are all messed up. Try to change the name, NOPE go through the profile verification by providing the name, gender and birthdate again.

7. Finally get it and it says, looks like you're travelling (Im not) so its limiting the content.

What a steaming pile of crap. Seriously considering unsubscribing.

Time to get rid out of the old Hotstar UI and embrace the new Disney Plus Global UI. I'll give 10/10 for it's layout design.

I am sure the mods will take this down for some arbitrary reason, but I took a one month sub of Disney+ recently then cancelled. i then started receiving emails offering 3 months at $4.99 per month. I ignored it, they sent a reminder to claim now. I relented and tried to redeem it but it wouldn’t let me redeem it saying the code was already redeemed or I’m ineligible or in a location that can’t have the offer.

I haven’t redeemed the code (hence the repeated emails encouraging me to do so) and if I’m not eligible why send it to me in the first place?

I have now received another reminder, and so now it’s pissing me off. I tried to contact support but couldn’t get a person without the bot insisting I login even though I went through the login process three times.

Why does a company like Disney with all the resources available to them suck so bad at digital services?

My working theory is that this is an offer for the US Disney+ even though I’m in NZ and they should know that since this is a “come back” offer. Has anyone else struck this situation?

Hope Disney See this: phishing email exactly on my subscription renewal date. How do scammers know this Disney?

The global app is released a day early. Subscribers from the Philippines can now log in on their Apple devices. Not yet available for Android or TV devices.

I was suprised they got rid of it, I liked having it on falling asleep too

That they pull from the same few crops?

By that I mean, I've put on some of the TV show playlists and realized I have to hit 'next' a few times because it's only playing episodes it shuffled through yesterday.

This makes sense with movies but when the 'Playlist'or shuffle feature has access to days worth of viewing and keeps cycling the same stuff?

Regular shuffle features that have come and gone on other streaming sites did the same thing. But it doesn't make sense.
