I will not watch the Super Bowl until Weird Al does the halftime show

Weird Al with a 20 million dollar budget would be amazing

This is one reason why they clarified about having ads in some content.

Yep, that entire thing about ads on the ad plan was overblown and anyone who spent 30 seconds thinking about it could have realized so.

It’s like of course live content with ads would have ads when it’s live…

Now if they could only do this for the NBA Finals as well.

Very cool, but I’ll be watching on rabbit ears because streams are always late and I get spoiled

To the surprise of absolutely no one! It's free on ABC anyway.

Sounds like you just need to buy an antenna.....not sure what to tell you.

Thats why Disney changed their terms to put ads even in their premium plans

For Brazilian subscribers with the Premium Plan, it’s nothing new (ESPN Brazil is one of the NFL rights holders in the country, and has broadcast most Super Bowls in recent years)

Some people don't have Disney+ that means they can't watch it.

They can watch it on ESPN or ABC.

It's not airing exclusively on Disney+.

How?

-6

u/MiddleOccasion1394 6d ago

... I mean look at it. Disney+ streaming the Superbowl?!!?

Disney owns ABC and ESPN, which are the broadcasters of the Super Bowl this year. Disney also owns, obviously, Disney Plus and Hulu. Streaming it on their streaming platform is perfect cross-company “synergy.” How does it not make sense? You’re commenting in a Disney Plus subreddit too!

So they should release it under ABC, not Disney.

What? Are you following this? They’re doing all three. Why are you so surprised?

2

u/crestroncp3user 6d ago

...and?

-2

u/MiddleOccasion1394 5d ago

.... what else is there to explain?

Only your entire comment of “Weird choice.”
