Question Is the new Disney Plus website/app that launch across Asia & Africa same as the one in western countries?
For those who don't know, Disney Plus recently relaunch their new website/app with new UI across Asia & Africa, replacing the old Hotstar version from India throughout September & October. Are the new ones the same as the one used in US and many other western nations?

Yes but keep in mind that content on the new app may be varied depends on country-to-country (something that's available at USA doesn't means it's available in your respective country) an example is in Thailand (where I came from) Kim Possible is missing 3 episode which is season 3 episodes So The Drama because it's available as feature length movie which is not available in my country but on the old app (Hotstar) So The Drama is available as a 3-seperate episodes. Despite had been dubbed in Thai and aired multiple times on Thailand's Disney Channel, a movie version of Kim Possible So The Drama isn't available here and it's very very frustrated me because I'm a huge Kim Possible fan...
Update: I've also heard that Phineas and Ferb Across the 2nd Dimension does not available at Indonesia but here in Thailand, it's available.

This problem has been existed since the beginning when disney+ hotstar launched, apparently a lot of Disney Channel shows weren’t available in full with plenty of episodes missing.

I wanted to make a topic long ago about how I found out the disney plus app is different across regions, not just in content due to licensing but actual functions. For example in the regular American disney plus app you can disable autoplay, but in the mena region disney plus app you can't.
Plus some other issues I had with the app. So I'm now wondering if the new app will be the same in form and function if not content

Yes. You'll get the same look as the rest of the world. Philippines (with ESPN hub) and Malaysia were the last ones to replace Hotstar X backend on October 7.
