Question Beardevil: awake again. Is this a real thing?

Post image

This is recommended on the Vizio Home Screen but I can’t actually find it in Disney. Seems goofy.

It's one of the series of spoof movie/show posters made to promote Zootopia 2.

To be fair, it is really strange they would cross promote a show that rated Mature and a PG movie.

PG movies are always packed with jokes and innuendo for the parents. Plus, there's nothing inherently mature about a thumbnail featuring a character from comics written for kids/teens.

Family movies referencing The Silence of the Lambs is basically a cliché at this point.

Zooptopia 2 literally recreates a scene from The Shining.

I thought it was AI but I’m dumbass.

Zootopia 2 is very good movie and yeah I see Nick watching TV references Disney/Hulu thumbnails.

Oh, so it’s not actually in the movie like Ratatouille?

Which btw has more implications in this universe if the story of Ratatouille plays out scene for scene like it does for ours

I think this is part of the Zootopia 2 marketing promo

I think it’s just an advertisement for Zootopia 2, they have those kind of punny movies and TV shows in-universe

I turned on my mom’s Vizio TV at her house and saw the same thing. Then my stupid ass actually went to Disney plus and searched for “Beardevil” before I figured out the joke

I know, right? I was so looking forward to watching Ramdor.

It’s a parody of Daredevil: Born Again

u/Darth_Mims Mar 15 '26

I think this confirms Spider-Ham lives in the Zootopia universe……

This is a promo for Zootopia 2, as has been stated, but Beardevil is, in fact, a canon Marvel character.

1

u/Technical_Tap_7423 Mar 13 '26

Wait, why does that remind me of “Daredevil: Born Again?”

A few more new ones from today's batch of Disney+ Zootopia parodies...

The poster features a grizzly bear version of Matt Murdock, often joked about by fans as "the bear without fear.

It’s supposed to be Daredevil.
