There are no rules! There are no rules (at least as far as the NFA is concerned.)
Was sitting in my office and just realized I could now just kinda do this.

I bought this 10 years ago for $1000 bucks i was told it was never shot and i have never shot it besides the shell from the factory .
I did a little chat gbt and it seems to think its worth something in the $3200-4200 range
I found one on gun broker for $3000 but it wasn't a iwi from my limited research, apparently made in Israel is a game changer
Box gun and paperwork all has matching serial numbers 352 is the first 3#s
Definitely dont think its a 3k+ gun and have considered shooting the piss out of it but hoping to gain more info and if theres an actual market for these

Seems too many people are hung up on me one handing my Deagle. That video is no relation to my question/concern. Actually I was able to get more rapid shots (not having to ass tap it) when I did hold it with one hand.
Anyways. I ran 40 more rounds into the Deagle and it seems to have gotten better. But when I hold my firearm with TWO hands (for the people needing the difference of text-tone).
It still sometimes needs a tap on the back to fully seat and go into battery. No issues firing or picking up rounds from the magazine. Did a nice clean and lubed all the points that needed it like the Manual says.
Is this just the process of breaking the firearm in?
Also ammo used: Armscor .50AE 300gr JHP
Also tried a few recommendations I saw online. Loosened my grip, tightened my grip because I guess holding it too tight also leads to issues lol. Made sure I wasn’t limp wristing. Tried different gripping styles and nothing. Still having to tap the slide into battery

First thank you all for welcoming me in my previous post!
I fired it and it cycles fine, but when it picks up the new round I have to ass tap it to bring it back into battery. Is this normal for the break in period or is this an issue to raise concern about?
Ammo was MRI 300gr JSP
Firearm is a Mark XIX in destressed white (no mods or anything, just lubed before firing)

Having an issue with my new Desert Eagle. The magazine seems to sit too high in the gun, causing the bolt to catch on the back of it.
I have another one, and when I switch the mags between the two, the good one is fine with either mag and the new one has issues with both mags. Any ideas?

Went to the range the other week and forgot to post this. I brought two other guns to do some trouble shooting (ha) and brought the L6 out for funsies. Another guy had a .50ae MK19 and we both got a chance to dual wield them. Big thanks for the opportunity to that gentleman. What a blast to do. Might have to eventually get a second one to do this more often. Also a vid of me one handing my L6 in the comments, won't let me post 2 videos at once.

So I know what I want I want an L6 only thing I’ve been looking for is a lightweight L6 barrel similar to the L5 barrel with all the ports for weight savings I’ve been trying to find something similar but to no luck I don’t want the L5 because I don’t wang the 5” so I’ve been looking for a barrel for the L6 that’s cut to save weight like the L5 but with the 6” barrel.i hope you guys can help me out and also what websites do you use for desert eagle upgrades i know they are kinda known to be unreliable but i wanna try and get it as reliable as possible.

My wife just got a silver tiger desert eagle in 50 with the top and bottom rail. She now wants to get me a gold tiger one for our 'couple guns.' I can find them without the bottom rail, but don't see any with it. Any idea how to get one?

I’m about to acquire a desert eagle 44 magnum with aluminum frame with teardrop safety. I was wondering if any of you guys knew if there were any problems of the aluminum frame early Desert Eagle 44 magnums. I’m also wondering why they discontinued the aluminum frames and went with steel frames. Did they have any cracking or wear issues with the aluminum frames and they stop making them or were they just a design upgrade?

Yesterday i was in a shooting range club, and i asked the guys if we could possibly rent a desert eagle..
And the main guy said oh no we dont carry these, they are overpriced blablabla and frame or slide can crack............
Me i dont believe this and this is why im asking you guys in this sub.
I ve made a search on google image and found only one picture showing this. maybe this one was a lemon and shouldnt have passed the QC.
please let me know guys if you ever seen / heard about one.

Brand new, it was perfect. Upon getting it home from the store and taking it apart to clean, I immediately dropped the barrel onto the sharp corner of the frame, giving it its first scratch, right under the barrel’s caliber engraving. The rubber gloves backfired, with the gun oil they made the thing unexpectedly slippery. I hate myself sometimes.

Got the new factory threaded 6inch. Really nice that it keeps the front sight.
