Railing system advice.

Post image

The wife wants a modern aluminum railing system with aluminum uprights. I was first considering the trex surface mount system. But now I am thinking of using Fascia Mount railing. Admittedly, I’m not terribly experienced. But the blocking involved doesn’t look too intimidating and I have a standard layout. I was looking at the Fortress AI13 Fascia Mount system. What are people’s thoughts? At the end of the day it gives me more backspace, installation also seems straightforward.

the ai13 looks solid fr the blocking doesn't seem too bad especially if you're working with standard dimensions

that one looks nice and seems pretty simple to set up compared to some others

Those are super easy to install, if that’s the system you like go for it. You may want to look up Timbertechs new aluminum deck framing too

I think Century Aluminum rail makes a far better product than Fortress with more options, great support, and straightforward installation.
