Video Is this a sign of Blood returning to Dragon Ball Super?
This clip is from Dragon Ball Super Beerus episode 1

Dragon Ball Super: Beerus, which kicks off a new remaster of Dragon Ball Super, will air on Fuji TV in Japan on Sundays at 11:15pm JT, or 10:15am US Eastern Time, starting today. We don't yet know what time subtitles will be available on Crunchyroll, but probably by noon ET. It will not be on Netflix until the following Sunday. This trend will continue throughout: Netflix will always be one week behind Crunchyroll.
What we think we know: "Beerus" will have 19 episodes covering the first three arcs of Dragon Ball Super, though the name might change with each arc. They're likely to continue reworking the DBS anime over the next year until Dragon Ball Super: Galactic Patrol airs next fall, but that has not been confirmed.
The animation has been recomposited and at times it has been reanimated. The runtime has been cut by more than half, so much has likely been edited out. The series composer is the same, and the same score will likely be repurposed, but the opening and ending songs are new. We do not know if any voice lines were re-recorded.
We'll fill you in as more information becomes available. Feel free to discuss the episode whenever it becomes available to you, but do not discuss piracy on this subreddit.

I really loved this manga. It was funny, action-packed and had amazing art. Oh and the panelling. The panelling!!! The panelling made the fight scenes feel like they were actually moving on page. Genuinely insane how well Akira Toriyama pulled that off so well.
Has it got problems yeah but this honestly might be one of my favourite mangas so far. I'm even more excited for DBZ now because that's the main reason I got onto Dragon Ball.
Rating: 7.5/10

Everyone in super keeps looking younger and younger for no reason, Goku and Vegeta looked like they were in their 40s in the buu saga, and they looked so good. But in super they keep making Goku younger and younger. Why make chi chi look so boring and uninteresting? What's up with the laziness in her design? She is younger than, Goku, Vegeta, or Bulma. Yet they keep making her look the oldest.
What's with the bland hairstyle, there's a million bun, chignon etc hairstyle they could give her, but they give her the most bland one ever and intentionally keep nerfing her🫠
Bulma can have 70 different outfits and hairstyles a season, at least give chi one more!
They already took away any subtle Goku X chi chi moments more z in super anyways, I would at least hope this remake does it better...

This scene always stood out to me because while I did find it funny, I also found it much needed. Basically, this was the first time Goku, Trunks, and Vegeta fought Black and Zamasu and they got clobbered. Bulma's reaction to seeing her husband unconscious and beaten along with Goku and Trunks was needed because I feel Dragon Ball Super had lost all the stakes and tension that was present in Z. They're all so confident that they can handle any threat that they're all genuinely surprised that they can't just throw Goku and Vegeta to solve a problem during this arc because Black and Zamasu are too strong. I do find it cute that Bulma was genuinely shocked to see Vegeta that hurt

Goku is one of the most popular live stream requests I've rendered on Etch A Sketch over the years!

These are all from ~2000 and I’m not sure how to describe them in a way that distinguishes them from each other.
Maybe, for example; image 1: standard and mini, image 2: micro, image 3: giant and standard ¯_(ツ)_/¯
If anyone knows of common/official terms used when discussing the various sizes—other than having to specify their measure height (in/cm)—I’d appreciate you sharing!

Another one from my older COD WWII emblem collection, this time Perfect Cell.
Everything was built manually inside the emblem editor using basic shapes, stretched, rotated, and layered to get as close to the original reference as possible.
I did make one intentional change though. The original reference had Cell frowning, but I decided to give him a slight smirk instead. I always felt that smug, overly confident expression suited his personality better.
That’s one of my favorite things about making these. I treat each reference like a puzzle, figuring out how to recreate it with limited shapes while occasionally making little adjustments of my own.
What do you think? Does the smirk fit Cell better, or would you have kept the original expression?
