Hey crew, so Im new to the galway area and pretty much just wondering, what's the green scene down here?

So I moved to Galway this week for work and so far I havent met a single stoner. I've been in Galway the last 3 weeks organising the move and I've been actively searching for the scent if green, even on shop street?! From what I had heard Galway was meant to be like the Amsterdam of Ireland. Maybe I'm looking in the wrong places? Im on the posh side too and a tad paranoid about neighbours?
