Destroyed my daughter's school books, but we still love him
Teacher had to call to verify the legitimacy of her story😂

This guy hasn’t really napped on me since we first brought him home as a tiny 5lb bean… he’s 2yo now. This is very exciting! I mean, I’m stuck here, but happy about it.

Just wanted to share these shots of our girls, Pixie (Red Tri-Colour at six months of age) and Rosie (Blue Merle at eighteen months old) at a recent show we attended. So happy with how they’re both coming along! Pixie won 4/4 Minor in Group and Rosie won 2/4 Junior in Group!

Clover the Corgi isn’t phased by our Halloween decor.
Cosmo on the other hand likes to bark out the window when one of the decorations is moving in the wind 🤣ðŸ˜

Ferguson has broken his dew claw three times in less than three years, so my vet is recommending permanent removal surgery. Anyone else been through this?? What was your experience?
(Not seeking medical advice btw, just your experiences!)

My MIL was so sweet! She gifted our one-year-old a costume for Halloween and she really loves it!

So awesome to see all six of them together. My one is Cooper, he's on the bottom/middle. Sadly their Mom couldn't make it.

It's Honey, she's the one who laid in my dirt pile. And who made most of the debris!

Here’s Pizza hard at work at my job the other night. I’m an overnighter at a youth mental health home, so Pizza knows to (mostly) be quiet and stick close to me when he’s got to come along on a shift; that night, he was absolutely exhausted, and fell asleep on the desk with me for the better part of two hours. What a goomba!

Heartbroken as I am writing this. I know Corgis, coming from a working dog/herding dog line, can be a little ... alert? anxious?
My corg has always been very alert in the sense that, if he sees or hears something he perceives as a threat, he will absolutely let you know vocally. Usually , at most, he will growl and bark while doing his little hops. We have worked with a trainer for the last 3 years on this and he's shown improvement.
Today while we were waiting on the street for the bus, one he's taken many times, he saw something he didn't like and just bit somebody walking by. I already had his leash shortened because I knew he can get sensitive to the noises but the person walked right past us with their long jacket. My friend was with us and confirmed he did wrap his his open mouth on the jacket/leg. Luckily for us, he didn't mark up the person through their jeans and the person didn't make a huge deal out of it past the shock. I don't know how much pressure was actually applied but I can't assume it was anything but a bite. I apologized profusely (my friend helped too) to the individual. He's never bitten anyone before.
My corgi had just spent all day with me at work in my office where he is beloved and , yes he will let out a bark when he hears a noise, but also will walk to my door wagging his nub for pets.
I'm just at a lost of words and feeling like a failure as a corgi parent. I can't bring him to work anymore, I don't trust him. And that makes me very sad too. My friend suggested I keep bringing him in but with a muzzle for when we have to take public transit but I just feel like I can't risk it. I'm even scared of taking him to the dog park now because what I thought was his "corgi sass and attitude" when he tells dogs off...makes me very nervous.
Please does anyone have any advice? I reached out to his trainer too and am awaiting his response.
